The episode starts with Teju saying to Pradhan family that none of this would have happened if Neil had told the truth at the right time. Neil comments on Teju and says that all of this happened because he told the truth. He says he told the truth to Teju, Juhi, his mother, and his family, and comments on it. Neil adds that he didn’t expect that after telling the truth, everyone would blame her.
Rituraj comments on Teju, saying she hasn’t told the whole truth. Neil tells Rituraj that Teju has told the truth she needed to, but not everyone has the courage to hear the bitter truth. Amruta comments on Teju and argues with her, saying there is a way to speak the truth, but Teju said it in front of the guests and ended up proving Leena wrong. Amruta asks Teju what she was trying to do. Teju tells Amruta that she only wanted to prove that neither she nor her sister wanted this marriage.
Neil tells Teju that he knows she is unhappy with this marriage. He says she can leave the house right now, and no one will say anything to her. Amruta asks Neil if he has gone mad, as he is thinking about breaking the wedding just two days after it took place. Amruta then comments on Teju, saying she is the one thinking about leaving Neil. Rituraj also comments on Teju. Teju tells Amruta that she is not thinking about leaving Neil and comments on it.
Amruta then tells Neil and Teju that they have to complete another ritual, after which they can go and rest in their room. Neil asks Amruta to leave it, as everyone is already tired. Amruta says she also doesn’t want to do the ritual, but if they skip it, it will be considered inauspicious.
Neil and Teju sit for the ritual. Amruta asks them to feed paan to each other. Neil and Teju feed the paan to each other, completing the ritual.
Later, Neil goes to Leena and asks her to forgive him and talk to him, but Leena doesn’t agree and comments on him.
Rituraj thinks he never expected Teju to be so manipulative—she claimed to love him but went on to marry Neil. Rituraj comments on Teju and thinks about how to ruin Teju’s first night.
Neil comes to Teju. He tells her that he knows she is upset with him and that he didn’t do all of this intentionally. He asks her not to misunderstand him. Teju comments on Neil. Neil tries to explain himself, but Teju doesn’t listen. Neil tells Teju that she can leave the marriage if she no longer wants to stay in it. Teju replies that while it might be easy for him to say that, it is not so easy for a woman, and she comments further on it.
