The episode begins with Jhanak saying she forced Dadabhai to quit snuff because she was worried about his health. She adds she thought she was a family member, but she was wrong. She apologizes to them for crossing her limits and cries. Dadabhai asks her why she is crying when he did not even scold her. He says he calls Jhanak “Beti,” but she doesn’t call him “Papa.” Jhanak hugs him and cries. Indumati tells Jhanak that they were joking. Abhimanyu says Dadabhai loves Jhanak the most in this house. Dadabhai asks Jhanak to not make him feel bad by crying like this. He gives the snuffbox to Abhimanyu and tells him to throw it away. He tells Jhanak that she won, and he hugs her.
On the other hand, Arshi asks Aniruddh in which village he met Jhanak. Aniruddh tells her that it happened many years back. Arshi tells him she is asking this for Aditi’s future, and she did not forget anything. Aniruddh asks her to move on. Arshi says she wants to know that village name. Aniruddh tells her that he doesn’t remember that village name. Arshi asks him to stop lying and tell the village name. Aniruddh recalls how he met Jhanak in Simulboni.
Later, Dadabhai gives a test to Jhanak. Then he checks Jhanak’s answers and appreciates her. He tells Indumati and Tanushri that Jhanak did well on the test. Tanushri asks about Jhanak’s marks in 10th standard. Jhanak replies she got 94%. Dadabhai says Jhanak should continue her studies for sure. Tanushri reads the essay that Jhanak wrote and learns that Jhanak wants to become a terror police officer. She says Jhanak wants to become both a goon and a police officer.
Meanwhile, Aditi tells Bablu and Anjana that they are not accepting her gifts. Bablu says they don’t need expensive outfits. He asks Aditi to save her hard-earned money for her future. Aditi goes to Aniruddh and tells him that Bablu and Anjana are not accepting her gifts. Arshi asks Aniruddh to answer her question. Aditi asks what happened. Aniruddh changed the topic. Arshi says Aditi is old enough to know the truth. Aniruddh tells Aditi that it’s nothing. Arshi asks Aditi that Rishi went to which village. Aditi replies that Rishi went to Simulboni.
Rishi comes downstairs. Dadabhai tells Rishi that Jhanak got 94% on 10th Standard. He says Jhanak wrote the essay well in English. Rishi says he has work, so he should go. Dadabhai tells Rishi to take Jhanak to her village once. Rishi says that’s not possible. Dadabhai asks Rishi to do that after marriage. Indumati says Jhanak should go to her village to continue her studies.
Rishi says that’s not his responsibility. Dadabhai says he will take Jhanak to her village because he took responsibility for her studies. Jhanak says she can go alone to fill out the form and bring books. Rishi thinks Dadabhai can’t go to Simulboni. He tells his family that he will take Jhanak to her village and leave from there. Indumati asks Jhanak why Rishi doesn’t talk well with the latter. Tanushri says she also has this doubt.
