Episode starts with, Machhar Singh praises Abhimanyu for bringing Pablo’s hair and a glass for testing his DNA. He says that Abhimanyu is his hero. Preeti says that she is the hero since she only brought the sample. Abhimanyu teases Preeti then he gets a call from his mother. He tells his mother that he can see hope in the case he was investigating and is happy for it. His mother asks him not to be so happy before the work is finished and not get suspended again. He feels bad hearing this.
Preeti tries to cheer him up but he says his mother is right, and he hasn’t been able to do any job properly till date. Later at night, an artist Ramakant is seen working in his home till late night. Suddenly he hears someone calling her name. Then something supernatural happens and he falls down on the ground and dies possibly due to the Dayaan’s attack.
Machhar Singh says he didn’t send the DNA sample to that lab so that like last time there’s no more chaos. Abhimanyu gets annoyed and asks him who would send it to the lab then. Machhar says he sent it to a different lab so that his evidence doesn’t get tampered again. Abhimanyu thanks Machhar and says he has become smarter. He says that he is his hero so he couldn’t let him down. Abhimanyu says he isn’t a hero but a zero and couldn’t complete any work till date. When he saw Geetanjali’s father requesting him to stay back at Chamkiya that’s when he decided to fight back.
Preeti brings something special for Abhimanyu to have. He opens the lid and sees that it’s cashew kheer which reminded him of his college days. He tastes it and asks Preeti if she made it. Preeti says that she wanted positivity in her house hence she brought it for him so asks him to smile a bit. He loves the kheer and has it. Shastri is seen sitting for a yagna. The villagers pray to God to protect them since it’s the second day of Dayaan’s powerplay.
Abhimanyu asks Machhar what he thinks about whether the DNA sample will match or not. They get to hear the voice warning recorded by Machhar Singh asking everyone to stay indoors after 10:29pm. So Abhimanyu makes a bet with Machhar Singh that if Pablo’s DNA matches, he would announce in the loudspeaker and tell everyone that no Dayaan exists. Suddenly they get to hear a crooked female voice apparently of the dayaan telling everyone that she won’t leave them if her motive isn’t fulfilled. People are seen running back home scared.
Abhimanyu rushes outside and sees the rickshaw that was carrying the recorder and the loudspeaker. He stops the record and then tries to wake up the driver who seems to have fainted. He brings the man inside his house seeing whom Machhar gets scared. Abhimanyu tries to bring the man back to senses when Preeti comes in.
Abhimanyu connects the pendrive to his laptop to play the Dayaan’s voice clip again but this time he doesn’t find that voice and just Machhar’s warning plays in it. He finds it strange. Episode ends.
