The episode starts with Meet coming downstairs with her luggage. Meet Ahlawat performs the ritual with Neelam. Raj thinks it’s Meet but he notices Meet with her luggage. He wonders then who is the other girl with whom Meet Ahlawat is standing. Meet calls Papaji and everyone looks at Raj. The divorce papers fall near his feet by mistake and he gets shocked reading that. He slaps Meet Ahlawat angrily and says how can he even think of divorcing Meet. Meet comes to Raj and tries to calm him down but he says he is alive because of her, she gave him a new life and she did a lot for this family but in return she doesn’t deserve this treatment.
Ram comes back and says he went to the hospital for Raj’s discharge but he heard Raj took his own discharge. Raj says he is not alright after all that has happened here. Babita tells Raj to not take stress as he is still recovering. Raj says they all planned to get Meet out of the house and how can he be fine after seeing this injustice.
Barfi interferes saying he change the truth by shouting, Meet Ahlawat is not a kid, he can take his life decisions and if he doesn’t want to stay with Meet and wants to spend his life with Neelam then Raj should support his decision too. Raj says this will not be possible in this life. He can never give Meet’s place to anyone else. He adds he literally pleaded Meet to marry his son when his name was butchered by the media and everyone.
Meet married his son and did a huge favour on him. He will never forget that and Meet will remain the right daughter in law for his son. Raj slams his family members for not considering Meet as a part of their family though she proved herself a lot of times. Barfi says daughter in laws are outsiders only, they can’t be your own blood. Raj says he feels ashamed that Meet Ahlawat is his biological son and he can’t tolerate him in this house anymore.
Raj tries to throw him out of the house but Barfi blocks his way. Raj tells her to move aside before he forgets his limits. Barfi stops him again saying Meet Ahlawat took the responsibility of his entire business which was suffering from loss due to Tej’s fault. Noone told Raj about the reality as he was sick. But he should understand the value of Meet Ahlawat’s honor who spent a huge amount of money behind his treatment. He is like Raj’s right hand and Raj should think practically that who is his loved one and who is an outsider. He should understand the difference.
Raj gets into thinking and says Barfi is right and he will think from his brain now. He can’t live without his son. Barfi gets happy and tells Meet Ahlawat to start the puja again. She asks Meet to leave the house at once as Raj already said what he wants. Barfi tells Meet Ahlawat to take Raj’s blessings. Raj doesnt allow him to touch his feet but he keeps his hand on Meet’s head.
Everyone is surprised to see that. Raj says it’s true he can’t live without his son and today he will give Meet his son’s place. He makes her sit on the stool and removes her dupatta from her head. He makes her wear the pagdi which fell from Meet Ahlawat’s head during the slap. He says she is not just his daughter in law but his son from now onwards.
