The episode starts with Fateh showing Amrik’s photo to Nehmat. The latter recognizes him as Amrik uncle who, became a star now. Teko is about to show her Jasmine’s photo. Nehmat notices the family drawing she made for Fateh and Tejo. She says that they’re her favorite and adds that no one can come between them. Fateh is about to tell Nehmat the truth, but Tejo stops him. Tejo says that she will frame this photo so that it will always be with them. Fateh sends Nehmat to freshen up.
Jasmine confronts Naaz about stealing money. She scolds her for the same. Naaz denies it. Jasmine asks then how she got the money to buy museum’s ticket. Naaz lies that Nehmat gave her money. Meanwhile, Tejo says to Fateh that they will tell Nehmat the truth once she grows up. Fateh asks what if Shelly tells Nehmat the truth. Tejo says that she will ask her parents to answer Shelly’s questions related to Jasmine and make sure that she doesn’t tell this to Nehmat. Here Jasmine asks how Nehmat got the money. Naaz lies again that Nehmat’s mom gave Nehmat money after seeing her cry. Jasmine remembers Rupy’s words.. She asks Naaz to go out and play. Jasmine is angry that Tejo gave her daughter money. She says that she doesn’t need anyone’s help, she can take care of her daughter alone.
In school, Aykam praises Nehmat when he sees her with the donation box. Mallika is glad that Ekam appreciated Nehmat. She says that now they three can be friends. Jasmine and Naaz come to school. Jasmine gives Naaz money to return it to Nehmat. The latter notices Jasmine and goes to talk to her. Nehmat asks Jasmine if Naaz also donated her old belongings to the poor children, to which Jasmine says that Naaz doesn’t have old belongings. Nehmat says that it’s good to help others. Jasmine gets irritated and says that Nehmat is lecturing like her mom. She says that her mom taught her to insult others, so she gave money to Naaz to buy museum tickets. Naaz denies it. Jasmine says Nehmat to not lie. Nehmat says that she never lies, as her parents said that it’s wrong to lie. Jasmine says that her parents are themselves lying to her. She asks Nehmat to go home and ask why they don’t tell her who her real parents are. Nehmat is shocked to hear this. Jasmine instigates Nehmat to ask her parents about the identity of her real parents. Jasmine leaves. Nehmat sadly walks from there remembering Jasmine’s words.
Nehmat returns home. Fateh and Tejo surprise Nehmat by showing the photo frame of her drawing. They ask if she liked it. Nehmat stays quiet. Gurpreet says that Nehmat was silent even in the car too. Fateh and Tejo ask Nehmat what happened. Nehmat asks them if they’re not her real parents, if she’s not their real daughter. Fateh and Tejo are taken aback by Nehmat’s question. The family is also shocked. Tejo asks Nehmat who told her this. Tejo says that it’s not like that. She tries to hug Nehmat. But Nehmat stops Tejo and asks her to first tell her if she’s not born from her womb. Gurpreet and Biji assure Nehmat that they’re her parents. But Nehmat demands Fateh and Tejo to tell if they are her real parents. Fateh says that it’s no use in hiding the truth anymore and asks the family to let him tell the truth. Fateh holds Tejo’s hand. They get on their knees. Tejo says to Nehmat that they all love her very much and she means the world to them. Fateh says that they hid the truth from her, she wasn’t born from Tejo’s womb. Nehmat looks on shocked while Fateh and Tejo cry.
Jasmine is walking on the road remembering her past and Rupy’s words. She decides to tell Naaz all the truth. At the Virks, Tejo says that they love her despite the fact she’s not their daughter. Fateh asks Naaz to feel their heartbeat. Nehmat closes her eyes crying. She remembers Jasmine’s words. She opens her eyes. She jerks Fateh and Tejo’s hands. She runs from there. Tejo and Fateh go after her. They stop Nehmat. Tejo asks who told her this. Nehmat says that Naaz’s mom told her that they’re not her real parents and they lied to her.
Jasmine returns home. She takes out her family album to show it to Naaz. She remembers Rupy’s words. She thinks that she will give her daughter good value, a good life and a family, since she deserves them.
