Colorstv’s recently launched show Dharam Patni is a rare love story of a simple sweet school teacher Pratiksha Parekh and a buisness tycoon Ravi Randhawa. Currently we are seeing that Pratiksha learns that Dhawal’s family is responsible for her parents ‘ death and breaks the marriage.
Later, her aunt asks her nephew Malhar to marry Pratiksha so that she can get the property belongs to Pratiksha and her sisters.
In the previous episode, Pratiksha’s aunt asked her husband to acquire the property as soon as possible as Pratiksha’s would be mother in law was eyeing on it. Her husband said that property belonged to Pratiksha and her sisters only. He also said that he would take care of Pratiksha and her sisters like her own daughters.
On the marriage day, Pratiksha’ mother gave her a visit and said that she had come there to see Pratiksha in bridal attire. She asked her to fulfill all her duties post marriage and become an ideal Dharam Patni.
Dhawal’s parents asked Pratiksha’s uncle and aunt to transfer the whole property to Dhawal before the marriage. Pratiksha’s uncle agreed to fulfill the demands. Parul confronted Dhawal’s parents for demanding extra gifts from their parents and becoming the reason for their death. She called them murderers.
Dhawal’s mother slaps Parul. Pratiksha broke her marriage as she was not willing to give the place of her parents to the people who have killed her parents. Dhawal’s mother said that they would defame Pratiksha so that she and her sisters remain unmarried for the rest of the life.
Pratiksha’s uncle requested them to leave. Dhawal left angrily with his parents. Pratiksha faced the guests. Later she consoled her sisters. Her sisters promised to support her forever.
In the upcoming episode, Pratiksha’s uncle asks Pratiksha and her sisters to pack luggage as they will leave Junagarh forever and shift to Chandigarh. Later, in car he notices that Pratiksha is missing from the car. Pratiksha gets kidnapped.
