Zee TV’s recently launched show Lag Ja Gale stars Namik Paul and Tanisha Mehta in lead roles. The show tells about the journey of a self made young Punjabi hotelier Shiv Dhooper and a hard-working Maharashtrian girl, Ishani Kulkarni. Currently the show is gearing up for more drama.
In the first episode we see Ishani who does part time jobs to take care of her family and secure their future. Her sister Puja and mother love her a lot. Ishani tells Puja that she has ordered cake and jewlery for her mother’s birthday.
Ishani adds that she will only do two shifts today to celebrate their mother’s birthday. Ishani drives cab. She gets booking from Shiv Dhooper and goes to pick him up. Shiv scolds his driver for not showing up at the airport.
Ishani saves the driver from Shiv’s wrath and getting fired. Ishani’s car stops in the mid way. She sees that the tire got pumptured. Shiv asks her if she can do these works. Ishani says if she can drive cab, can do these things as well. Shiv saves her from getting hurt.
They roll on the ground and share an eye lock. Shiv criticizes Ishani. He changes the tire himself. Ishani drops Shiv in his destination. She asks him to give her good ratings.
Shiv gives her 1000 rupees and asks her to keep the change. Ishani sees that Shiv gave her two stars. Shiv meets his mother. He cries for his twin brother Ani who is dead. He blames their father for Ani’s dead. Ishani gets tears for Shiv.
In the upcoming episode, Ishani and the other girls arrive at Shiv’s house. Shiv’s mother is informed that his bride will perform grahpravesh. Ishani walks in there. She enters Shiv’s bathroom.
They yell. Shiv motions for her to leave. They later collide while Ishani is riding the auto and Shiv is driving his car. He offers to cover the costs of the damages. Ishani asks whether or not he has any humanity.
Mata Rani’s dupatta falls on their heads when they come to the temple to seek God’s blessings. The pandit ji blesses them to be together forever. They exchange glances.
