Colors TV’s popular show Dharam Patni is a love hate story of a simple sweet school teacher Pratiksha Parekh and a buisness tycoon Ravi Randhawa. How two different people of different social status and background will come together due to marriage and fall in love eventually will be interesting to watch.
In the previous episode, Amardeep and Mandeep present themselves at the police station. Amardeep questions Ravi on how he can spend the rest of his life with Pratiksha.
Ravi asserts that modern marriages are similar to one-time passwords (OTPs) in that they expire quickly. He claims that he married Pratiksha out of retaliation so that he would not have to spend the rest of his life with her.
Ravi requests that Amardeep contact Gulshan about his bail. Amardeep informs Ravi that their friendship with Gulshan has ended due to what Ravi did with Kavya. Ravi apologises and promises to rectify the situation. Mandeep asserts that she cannot accept Pratiksha as Ravi’s wife.
Malhar asserts that this union is invalid. He contacts the pandit and requests his presence at the police station. Pandit arrives and listens to everything. Pandit describes the marriage as 100 percent valid. Malhar then declares that Ravi will never be released from prison.
Then, Aditya arrives with his attorney. Ravi is released on bail. Ravi instructs Pratiksha to prepare to depart for his residence. Pratiksha decides to accompany Ravi to prevent further humiliation for Pratik.
Dadi instructs Nupur to prepare for Pratiksha’s grahpravesh ceremony. Ravi and Pratiksha arrive at the Randhawa residence.
In the upcoming episode, Dadi says that she will perform the grahpravesh ceremony for Pratiksha even though everyone is in a foul mood. Kavya rips the plate from her grasp and states that Pratiksha neither deserves nor will receive a grahpravesh. Ravi casts her a glare.
