Star Bharat’s recently launched show Meri Saas Bhoot Hai is a horror comedy show which revolves around Gaura and her mother in law Rekha. As Som and Gaura are married and Rekha has already become a ghost post her sudden death it will be interesting to see the equation of a ghost mother in law and human daughter in law.
In the previous episode, Gaura tells Rekha that Som plans to build an old-age home in her honour. Rekha chastises Gaura for not taking the chokar stone along with the marks, which allowed Kanchan to discover her secret. She tells Gaura that her family is attempting to exorcise her spirit. Som is pleased to see the blouse and decides to wear it.
Later, he discovers that Gaura has repaired the shirt’s button. He begs Gaura to keep her distance and attempts to remove his shirt. Gaura asks him not to remove the garment because Rekha gave it to him. Som acknowledges Twinkle’s communication and smiles.
Gaura believes Som is pleased with her efforts. Rahul and Kanchan tell Ganga and Ramesh of Rekha’s ghost’s presence in the house. Kanchan requests that Ganga contact the pandit. Pandit instructs Som to throw Rekha’s asthi into the waterway so that she may attain moksha.
Rekha declares that she will not allow anyone to throw her asthi into the water. Gaura inquires of Harish what will happen if Asthi is not dropped into the ocean. Harish claims that if the spirit wanders, it will never achieve moksha.
Gaura intends to adopt Som and grant Rekha moksha. Pandit requests that Ganga and others prepare maha voj for Rekha. Ganga and Kanchan tell him about the maha voj. Som nods and departs.
Ganga and Kanchan request that Pandit arrange the maha vog as quickly as possible. Rahul has arrived to meet Twinkle. Som arrives and embraces Twinkle. Rahul is envious of Som. He intends to annoy Som. Rekha requests that Gaura halt the maha vog so that she does not attain moksha.
Gaura believes that she will only do what is proper. Som and Twinkle perform a bhoomi puja at Rekha’s old age residence. Rahul proposes to Twinkle. Gaura prays to God for Rekha’s salvation and Som’s awakening.
In the upcoming episode, Pandit asks Som to feed the crows outside the home so that Rekha’s soul gets moksha. Yamduts informs about the matter to Rekha. They asks Rekha to get ready to leave her house. Rekha gets worried.
