Star Bharat’s recently launched show Meri Saas Bhoot Hai is a horror comedy show which revolves around Gaura and her mother in law Rekha. As Som and Gaura are married and Rekha has already become a ghost post her sudden death it will be interesting to see the equation of a ghost mother in law and human daughter in law.
In the previous episode, Rahul promises to tell Som about his and Twinkle’s half-marriage. Twinkle requests that Rahul not mention anything to Som. Rahul asks her not to go near Som. Twinkle claims that because Som is her buddy, she must assist him. Rahul requests that she assist Som by marrying him, as Rekha’s spirit will attain moksha after their marriage.
Som requests that Rahul leave Twinkle and returns home. Gaura tells Pandit that she has prepared all of the dishes for Rekha’s maha voj. In a flashback, Rekha prevents Gaura from giving the asthi Kalash to Som and forces Gaura to change the kalash with a duplicate kalash. The Yamduts inform Rekha that she will receive moksha shortly after the maha voj.
Pandit requests that Som give the voj’s Prasad to the crows outside the house. Som expresses gratitude to Gaura for preparing all of Rekha’s favourite meals for maha voj. Twinkle phones Som to tell him it’s her birthday today. Som bids her a happy birthday. Twinkle would like to share her celebration cake with Som. Crows are fed by Som and Gaura.
Rekha intends to put an end to the crow and the maha voj. She dispatches a canine. Gaura attempts to remove the canine, and the crow flees. Som and Gaura discover that Pandit has become angry. According to Pandit, there are bones and flesh in maha voj dishes. Rahul and Kanchan believe that Rekha’s spirit is responsible for all of this.
Ganga and Som point the finger at Gaura. Pandit and his colleagues depart. Som screams at Gaura and tells her to keep away from him. Ganga and Kanchan both criticise her. Gaura travels to speak with Som. Som expresses his rage in his room. Som becomes enraged when he notices Gaura in his chamber.
In the upcoming episode, Som announces infront of his family that he doesn’t want to see Gaura’s face after today. Ganga asks Kanchan can Gaura be responsible for all these. Kanchan says that she is certain that Rekha’s ghost has done everything.
