Katha Ankahee 5th April 2023 Written Update: Ehsan encourages Viaan to win Katha’s heart

The episode starts with Reet breaking down after Yuvraj confesses his affair. Yuvraj blames Reet for his mistake. He says that Reet always ignored him. He reminds Reet of how she mistreated him. Yuvraj apologizes to Reet. The latter asks Yuvraj to promise on their unborn that he will never leave. Yuvraj does so. They share an emotional hug. Yuvraj gets ready to leave. Reet asks him where he is going. Yuvraj says that he is going to get his parents home. Reet agrees. Yuvraj assures Reet that there won’t be any secrets between them hereafter and he won’t break her trust again before leaving. 

Viaan and Ehshan drink alcohol and tell a truth that the person doesn’t know. Viaan promises Ehsan to never hide anything from him. Viaan confesses his feelings for Katha in front of Ehsan. He adds that he doesn’t want to lose his friend Ehsan. The latter assures him that he won’t. He asks Viaan to keep trying. Viaan asks what he means. Ehsan says that he tried to win Katha’s heart, but he couldn’t as she wasn’t interested in him, so he asks Viaan to continue to try. He warns Viaan that it’s not easy to win Katha’s heart. They go back to Katha. They find that Katha has left. Ehsan asks if Katha heard their talk, which worries Viaan. He tries to call Katha, but she doesn’t answer the call. Ehsan goes to check if Katha is on the terrace. 

Katha receives her mom’s call. She urgently leaves the restaurant. Kavitha, Yuvraj and Kailash are stuck in the traffic on their way. Katha reaches home and informs Kavitha about the same over the phone. Kavitha asks about Reet. Katha sees Reet having labor pain, but she doesn’t tell Kavitha about it. Katha makes a video call to Reet’s gynecologist. The latter sees Reet’s condition through the video call. She asks Katha to bring Reet immediately to the hospital. Katha reassures a scared Reet and takes her to the hospital. 

Viaan phones Katha. The call gets connected. Viaan hears Katha asking the taxi driver to go to the hospital. Viaan thinks that something has happened to Aarav. He immediately leaves. Ehsan sees Viaan leaving and wonders where he is going. Katha rushes Reet to the hospital. Viaan reaches the hospital and enquires in the reception if there’s an entry in the name of Katha or Aarav. The receptionist says that there’s an entry in Katha’s name to the first floor. Viaan immediately rushes to the first floor. 

Katha recalls Aarav’s memories in the hospital and gets sad. Viaan arrives there and finds Katha. The latter is surprised to see Viaan there. Viaan explains that he heard him over the phone and got worried about her, so he came. Katha explains to Viaan that she rushed her sister-in-law, who is pregnant, to the hospital. She is worried about Reet as the baby’s position has changed inside the womb. Viaan reassures Katha and goes to get water for her. 

Viaan gets a water bottle and  sandwiches from the hospital canteen for Katha. Viaan says to Katha that she missed her dinner and they didn’t know how long it would take there. He says that he is also angry. He takes a bite of the sandwich and requests Katha to give him company. Katha accepts the sandwich, but she says that she’s not feeling hungry. She tells how she used to spend many nights without eating. Viaan forwards his hand to hold Katha’s hand, but stops himself and withdraws his hand back. Viaan finds Katha worried and encourages her to share her worries with him. Katha tells him about her struggle in the hospital when Aarav was hospitalized. 

The episode ends. 

Precap: Katha congratulates Yuvraj saying that Reet gave birth to a baby boy. Kavitha is surprised to see Viaan there. Katha tells them that she had a dinner meeting with Viaan, but she left and rushed Reet to the hospital, so Viaan also came there to help her. Kailash asks Viaan to leave as they’re here. Teji tells Viaan that it’s easy to understand one’s heart’s feelings when there’s love. Viaan doesn’t agree with her.
