Katha Ankahee 17th April 2023 Written Update: Neerja gets impressed by Viaan’s determination

The episode starts with Viaan tells Katha when a person lives in dark sees a light, it won’t be an option for that person. He found his light and wants to travel in it then decides to leave but Katha stops Viaan. She asks Viaan whether he talked about his feelings to Teji also tells him what she must be feeling. Viaan tells her, Teji is his mother who will be happy in his happiness. He also tells Katha that with God’s blessings he will handle both Katha and Teji. Katha gets frustrated. She then requests Viaan that they should never talk about this again. Viaan smiles then leaves. Katha looks on with worry filled eyes.

Here, Aarav tells Kailash and Kavita about Yohaan is growing up fast. Kailash tells Aarav that Yohaan looks like him too. He then inquires him whether Katha is stressed? Aarav tells Kailash that Katha is always worried about everything but she always says that the only man in her life is him so he takes care of Katha. Kavita sends Aarav out making up an excuse. She then scolds Kailash for prying information about Katha. Kailash defends himself then leaves. Kavita grows worried.

Teji comes to meet Viaan. She questions him whether he is still upset with her. Viaan tells her, he isn’t upset with her and he is just scared by her revelation. He then tells her that he proposed Katha but the latter rejected him. Teji gets relieved. She also gets upset when Viaan tells her that he is going to not to give up. Here, Neerja gets surprised and impressed learning Viaan’s proposal for Katha also his decision to wait until she gives in. She calls it’s a romantic proposal. Katha gets frustrated and says to Neerja that she is sharing her problems. Neerja tells Katha that the latter can only decide what she wants as she have no say in it.

Teji pleads Viaan to let go of his feelings for Katha and find a partner for his own also expresses her willingness to find him. She further adds that Katha may feels pressurised by his behaviour. Viaan tells Teji that this is the first time ever he felt this way towards a woman so he will wait for his entire life to change Katha’s heart. Teji gets sad and worried. Katha tells Neerja that Viaan is indeed a good man at the same time this is the first time he fell in love with someone and it’s her but her priorities are different so she can’t reciprocate his feelings but worries about Viaan getting hurt.

The next day, Viaan and Aarav meets in the sports club. Aarav questions Viaan the reason behind his happiness asking whether his friend accepted his proposal saying that’s what happens in movie. Viaan laughs then says his decision to respect his friend’s decision even if her decision is to reject him. He then shows his bicycle to Aarav and tells it’s his favourite but decides to gift the latter. Aarav refuses to take it saying his mother won’t approve so Viaan suggests Aarav to hide this from his mother and keep the bicycle in club itself. Aarav agrees.

Neerja advises Katha to have a space in her heart to let someone enter who can bring more happiness but Katha refuses saying she is happy with Aarav and Neerja in her life then leaves. Viaan teaches Aarav to ride a bicycle. He also prevents Aarav from getting injured. Meanwhile Farah advises Teji to not to do something because of which Viaan may leave the house just like Viraaj after learning through Teji about Viaan’s determination also Katha’s rejection. Teji looks on shocked and worried.

Precap: Katha accuses Viaan but the latter tells her that he isn’t doing anything but being happy as he already confessed his feelings to her. Teji meets Kailash and tells him about Viaan’s feelings for Katha also how she isn’t happy with this. Reet overhears the conversation then asks Kailash to stop Katha saying before the situation goes out of control.
