The episode starts Sonal again taking the topic of sending Ashwin to a new flat. Deepti reprimands her mother but Sonal continues explaining. Pushpa says that she already said that she is fine with them moving. Deepti says that she has no plans of moving. Pushpa says it’s her wish but she says that she has no issues with them moving too. However she adds that she has no idea of moving out of the chawl. She says that there are too many memories etched in the chawl that she couldn’t afford to let go off the connection. Manish says Sonal that she said what she needs to say and asks her to leave the restroom their choice. He assures her that Pushpa knows well about what’s good for her family. Sonal then gives the good news that due to Ashwin’s presentation and efforts they got the investment for their company. Everyone gets elated hearing it and congratulates Ashwin.

Bapodhara and Jai’s father are discussing about their old times when Jai’s mother urges them to talk about the wedding too. Bapodhara suggests to do the engagement in the chawl while they have an open space to serve food in the back. Sunny gets worried for Prarthana’s love. Bapodhara sees their family sketch and suggests to make one of Jai and Prarthana too. They appreciate the art and suggests to hire the same artist for the sketch. Bapodhara agrees. Sonal and Manish were about to take the leave when Dileep bumps with him. Dileep apologizes them for not having a formal introduction. Pushpa reminds him that he has no relation with Ashwin. Dileep says he’s trying to protect the same. He says Sonal and Manish that they are big hearted to get their daughter married to a chawl person and Manish mocks him that he too left his lavish lifestyle to live there. Dileep says it’s his way of repentance and apologizes for Ashwin’s behaviour. He says that he would have given a better upbringing if he was with him and Pushpa gets furious. Sonal and Manish consoles her asking her to not get intimidated as he’s just provoking her. They ask her to focus on her exams.

Bapodhara comes to Pushpa’s house to make Chirag fo the sketch of Jai and Prarthana before engagement. Chirag refuses to do so. Jai who is on a date with Prarthana says about the sketch too. He asks about her love interests and Prarthana lies that she has only one lovely friend from childhood. When asked about him he reveals that he liked a foreigner in London but didn’t hope much as the chances for his parents accepting his love his very low. Prarthana says that he must have given a try and Jai agrees to give it a try. Bapodhara tries leaving but Pushpa promises that Chirag would do for his friend. Once Bapodhara leaves, Chirag scolds Pushpa for giving her word without consulting with him. He leaves angrily and Ashwin reasons that Chirag has his own issues as Bapodhara keeps calling him a shirt chor.

Chirag calls Prarthana and says about Bapodhara visiting him. He says that he can’t do her sketch and cuts the apologising her for interrupting her date. Prarthana takes her leave. Pushpa while studying recalls Kaku’s words. Dileep hangs a new nameplate outside the house. Rashi writes in her diary that her mother hates her father and wishes her to do the same which she feels unfair. Pushpa mockingly asks Dileep if Vasundhara knows about him staying there shocking him.

Precap : Dileep arranges birthday party for Rashi. Pushpa says that Rashi don’t be interested in his show off birthday party. Dileep says that it’s her decisions but says she’s 16 years old and let her take her own decision.
