Durga 19th September 2024 Written Update: Paanibai Insults Anurag’s Mother

The episode starts with Anurag touching Durga’s hand to congratulate her, but she pulls her hand back, thinking about the status difference between them. Anurag explains that he only touched her hand to congratulate her, nothing more. He then tells Durga that she can now pursue her dream of becoming a doctor. Durga replies that it has always been her dream to become a doctor and help those in need. Anurag says he already knows that.

Anurag later reminds Durga of a promise she made to him. When Durga asks what it is, Anurag says that he wrote her name on this tree, but she hasn’t written his. Durga hesitates and asks Anurag what people would think if she wrote her name alongside his. Anurag asks if there will ever be a time when their names can be together. Durga says that time will come, but not now.

Anurag and Durga are shown spending quality time together. Meanwhile, all the ladies of the Rajvadi family are seen doing saree shopping at home. Paanibai allows Indira to choose her favorite saree, but selects one for Anurag’s mother and tells her to take it. Paanibai asks Anurag’s mother if she likes the saree. Anurag’s mother, feeling dismissed, replies that no one cares about her wishes, and she will take whatever is given to her. Paanibai then reminds Anurag’s mother that she isn’t worthy of Vikram but is still allowing her to be with him. Paanibai tells her to be grateful for what she’s given.

Savitri arrives and asks Anurag’s mother why she hasn’t picked a good saree, instructing the saree seller to show her the Maharani sarees. Savitri says she will choose one. Paanibai retorts, saying that just because Anurag’s mother wears a Maharani saree, it won’t make her a Maharani, leading to an argument between the two. Savitri, unfazed, selects a Maharani saree and gifts it to Anurag’s mother.

Later, Anurag and Durga seek shelter from the rain. Durga, excited by the season’s first rain, begins dancing. Anurag plays a song for her. Rajesh and his henchmen witness this.

Rajesh approaches Anurag and greets him, reminding him that he is a member of the Rajvadi family. He warns Anurag not to do anything that might tarnish his father’s reputation. Rajesh adds that he’s telling him this because he is a close aide of Vikram, Anurag’s father. Anurag responds that he doesn’t owe Rajesh any explanations and tries to leave with Durga, but Rajesh’s henchmen stop them.
