Colors TV’s popular show Dharam Patni is a love hate story of a simple sweet school teacher Pratiksha Parekh and a buisness tycoon Ravi Randhawa. How two different people of different social status and background will come together due to marriage and fall in love eventually will be interesting to watch.
In the previous episode, Ravi and Kavya begin their journey to the pheras. Ravi recalls his and Pratiksha’s wedding day. The gadbandhan ceremony is about to begin. Mandeep has it in his possession. Ravi is perplexed as to why he is unable to walk. Kinjal and Parul enter the room but fail to notice Kavya. Kavya’s dupatta ignites.
Ravi takes off her dupatta. Manvi requests that Kavya accompany her to change her dupatta. Kinjal and Parul have been kidnapped. Pratiksha is spotted by Kinjal. Kinjal and Parul defeat the kidnappers and make their way to Pratiksha. They let Pratiksha go. Pratiksha informs them of what Kavya and Manvi have done to her.
Pratiksha would prefer to go with the flow. Kavya becomes concerned when she considers the disruption in her wedding. She requests that Manvi remove Pratiksha from the house. Manvi requests that she go to her room and change her chunri.
Parul bars Manvi from leaving the room. Pratiksha learns about Manvi from Parul. Pratiksha promises she’ll take care of Kavya.
She finds herself face to face with Kavya. She informs Kavya that she will go to any length to make her wish come true. Kavya declares that she and Ravi will marry today. Pratiksha claims that Ravi is hers because she is Ravi’s legal wife. Pratiksha Ravi Randhawa is her given name.
Kavya tells Pratiksha to stop acting and that she is only interested in money. She inquires as to what Pratiksha desires. Pratiksha expresses a desire for Ravi Randhawa.
In the upcoming episode, Kavya attacks Pratiksha and tries to choke her. Ravi goes to put sindoor on Kavya’s hairline. Pratiksha comes there and asks to stop the marriage.
