This is a story revolving around Pratiksha, an innocent girl who was forcefully married by the Randhawa’s son Ravi who abandoned her in the middle of the road the next day. This story is about Pratiksha and her rights.
In tonight’s episode, Pratiksha and Kavya have a heated argument with each other regarding rituals like wearing vermilion and mangalsutra, and taking saath pheres with Ravi. Pratiksha accused Kavya of doing all these just for show off and fashion and that these things didn’t mean a thing to Kavya in reality. But on the other hand, these things meant alot to Pratiksha.
She does these because she piously believes in these rituals and even God has shown signs of showering his blessings on Ravi and Pratiksha time and again. Kavya and her mother treated these things as just dialogues and lectures. Although they couldn’t say much to Pratiksha since deep down they knew that Pratiksha was actually right.
At that moment Dadi arrived there and Pratiksha took her blessings. Dadi was actually in favour of Pratiksha and she wanted Pratiksha to remain Ravi’s wife. When Dadi gave her blessings to Pratiksha, both Kavya and Rvai questioned dadi as to how she could do it. But Dadi didn’t pay much attention to them and left.
Later when Pratiksha went downstairs, she and Ravi had a heated argument when Ravi said that she would never be given any rights while Pratiksha challenged him saying that he would himself ask his family to let Pratiksha stay there.
In the next episode, it would be seen that Ravi tells Pratiksha that her dreams of staying at the Rabdhawa’s house as Ravi’s wife would never come true since he would never let that happen. He would tell Kavya that he would not even allow Pratiksha to be his servant. Kavya and her mother would enjoy this conversation.
Later, Ravi would tell Pratiksha that since he was married to Kavya now, Pratiksha must leave.
