Udaariyaan 7th May 2023 Written Update: Sartaj saves Nehmat from Harleen’s questions

The episode starts with Nehmat being stunned to see Ekam, Harleen and her family. She says Ekam and starts to get teary eyes. Sartaj notices this and looks on confused. Nehmat gets up. She is about to fall due to weakness. Ekam gets worried about Nehmat and moves forward. Sartaj makes Nehmat sit. Nehmat recalls Harleen’s words of asking her to stay away from Ekam, then she remembers Renuka begging her to marry Ekam and her refusing it. Rupy goes to Nehmat. He asks Nehmat if she’s fine. He says that she has to answer many of their questions. Harleen encircles Ekam’s arm and cries. Sartaj understands there’s something between Ekam and Nehmat. 

Rupy says that he is taking Nehmat home as he has to talk to her. Renuka stops Rupy and asks him to keep Nehmat, who had run away from them. She taunts Nehmat. Later, at Sandhus’ house, the Sandhus question Nehmat about her decision to leave Ekam and her relationship with Sartaj, who is Balveer’s son. Nehmat cries, recalling Jasmine threatening her. On the other hand, Sartaj mockingly wishes Balveer on his second marriage. Naaz introduces herself to Sartaj and asks him to call her Naaz. Sartaj says that he can’t call his new mom by her name. He taunts Balveer about getting remarried at this old age. Balveer asks Sartaj if he hasn’t got any other girl than her. Ekam asks Sartaj to say how he knows Nehmat and where he met her. 

Here, the Sandhus keep on questioning Nehmat. They ask if Nehmat was staying with Sartaj all those days. Just then, Harleen arrives there. She says that Nehmat has been staying with Sartaj, which shocks the family. Jasmine smiles at hearing this. Harleen takes Nehmat aside, saying that he wants to talk to her in private. There, Ekam asks Sartaj to answer his questions about Nehmat. Sartaj hugs Ekam and congratulates him on getting married. Ekam wonders why Sartaj doesn’t tell him what his relationship with Nehmat is. Sartaj thinks that Ekam and Nehmat share a strong relationship. Sartaj says that he goes to his fiancee as she will miss him and panic. He leaves. 

Harleen lashes out at Nehmat for returning as the fiance of Sartaj, who is Ekam’s cousin. Nehmat says that she doesn’t know that Sartaj and Ekam are cousins. Harleen refuses to believe Nehmat. She asks Nehmat why she didn’t tell her the nature of her relationship with Sartaj when she asked her the other day. She rebukes Nehmat. She says that she will find the reason behind Nehmat’s actions. She urges Nehmat to answer her. 

Just then, Sartaj arrives. He says to Harleen that he doesn’t know her, but she should be Ekam’s wife. He says that he understands that everyone has many questions in their minds, like Harleen has. He wraps his arm around Nehmat’s shoulder and says here’s the answer to her question. Nehmat looks at Sartaj surprised. 

There, Satti tries to convince Rupy to accept Nehmat. Rupy says that their questions are unanswered. The aunt says that they should agree if Nehmat wants to marry Sartaj. Jasmine agrees with the aunt and says that they have to do it for Harleen’s sake. Here, Sartaj says to Harleen that her fiancee isn’t in condition to answer her questions. He asks Harleen to go back to Ekam who might be missing her. Harleen thinks that Ekam must be worried. She asks Nehmat to also remember that Ekam is her husband and not to hurt him again before leaving.

The episode ends.

Precap: Ekam is furious that Nehmat cheated him. He angrily punches the bag. Harleen comes and stand in front of him to stop him.
