Meet 9th June 2023 Written Update on SerialGossip.in
The episode starts with Meet insisting Manmeet to rethink about his decision to return back to Sarkarpur. Manmeet tells he is concerned about Raj’s admission first. He says that they will interview parents for the admission and being a wrestler he doubts if because of him Raj and Sumeet will face problem in getting admitted. Meet scolds him for thinking like that. Cheeku comes there with set of questions and asks Meet to help him prepare. Meet teaches him basic questions like parents’ name, birthday and such.
Mahendra tells that Sarkar is sick now and being his elder son he has right to become the new Sarkar. He says that he has restarted the rituals and ask villagers to leave. Meet praises Manmeet for being a responsible and caring father. She reminds Manmeet that his family needs him now. However Manmeet says his siblings can take care of Sarkar. Sarkar tells Mahendra he has not allowed him to become Sarkar. Mahendra argues with him and forces him. Yashoda is about to slap him but Mahendra holds her hand. Mahendra says if Sarkar doesn’t agree to him, he won’t let Yashoda meet him. He locks Yashoda inside the room.
Ritual to tattoo husband’s name on wives is taking place and Mahendra reaches there with Sarkar. Mahendra criticizes women and provokes all the villagers against them. He says he won’t let women take over the society and announces himself as the new Sarkar of Sarkarpur. Villagers question him how can he announces himself when Sarkar is present there. Mahendra says Sarkar will announce the same. Sarkar thinks of how Mahendra locked Yashoda and threatened him. Yashoda keeps crying in her room. Manmeet and Meet reaches there and asks them to stop.
Manmeet and Meet go on the podium near and holds Sarkar. Mahendra question him for coming now. Manmeet says he came to meet his father and doesn’t need any reason for it. Mahendra says he has come late and being the elder son of the family, Sarkar has already chosen him as next Sarkar. Mahendra is about to pick up Sarkar’s pagdi and take it but Meet stops him. Meet tells even though he is elder son but if he has right to wear the pagdi and being the next Sarkar or not will be decided by Sarkar and villagers. Mahendra says he is ready for the ritual to choose new Sarkar for Sarkarpur.
Sarkar keeps coughing so Manmeet asks to get him water. Meet goes somewhere. Mahendra forces Sarkar to announce his successor. Sarkar tells that next Sarkar will be one who can handle the responsibilities well, he sees Meet coming with Yashoda. He tells Meet Hooda will be next Sarkar. Flashback shows how Sarkar had signed Meet about Yashoda being in trouble and she went back to home and rescued her from the room where Mahendra had locked her. Yashoda says Meet that Mahendra has lost his mind in greed to become new Sarkar. The episode ends with everyone being shocked with Sarkar’s announcement.
