The episode starts with Sumeet seeing pickle jar and says her caretaker how Raj never allowed her to eat pickle so that her throat doesn’t become sore. Bitti thinks if Sumeet is pregnant she won’t be able to stop herself from eating pickle. Sumeet washes dish herself instead of her caretaker requesting to let her do it. Sumeet thinks to taste pickle and Bitti misunderstands the situation. She goes and tells Poonam that Sumeet is pregnant as she is enjoying eating pickle. Bitti plans to catch Sumeet’s lie and asks Poonam to help her. She makes Sumeet hear about pious thread which is good for pregnant ladies. Poonam asks her to keep in temple.
Bitti and Poonam hide and see if Sumeet is picking up the holy thread. Sumeet prays to god and leaves after adding ghee to the jyot. Pankhuri tells Sumeet to get ready for her muh dikhai ritual. Sumeet sees Shlok leaving for some work and takes his box. They get into argument as Sumeet tries to stop Shlok but Shlok leaves after talking to her rudely.
Vani tells Raunak that he has to go for muh dikhai ritual. Shagun sugarcoats her words and tells Vani to convince Sumeet to come for the ritual.
Sumeet recalls Bitti’s words about holy thread for pregnant ladies and thinks to keep it for Vani. Poonam and Bitti see Sumeet taking the thread and conclude that she is really pregnant and trying to trap Shlok. Poonam vows to make Sumeet leave from her house. Shopkeepers asks Pankhuri to pay for the dress she took, and she tries to make him leave but Raj comes there and pays instead. Raj offers her to become his secretary and she readily agrees. Raj thinks he will keep eye on Shlok through Pankhuri and prove it to Sumeet about him being greedy and unable to look after her.
Sumeet’s muh dikhai is arranged and Poonam assures Shagun that Sumeet will go to her house with her. Vani asks where Sumeet is and Pankhuri tells she is getting ready in room. Bitti stops Sumeet from putting sindoor and says only she has right to do so. She picks up scissors to cut veil Sumeet has kept on bed. Sumeet tries to snatch it from her and Bitti injures her hand with the scissors. Bitti takes it to Poonam and says using the blood on scissor they can find if Sumeet is pregnant or not.
Vani does first aid to Sumeet. Sumeet asks if she trusts Sumeet has married Shlok but Vani thinks Sumeet should believe she is married to Raunak. During ritual, Vani asks Raunak to remove Sumeet’s veil and complete the ritual. Sumeet stops him and says her ritual will be done by her husband and goes behind Shlok to stop him. Shlok denies Sumeet to participate in the ritual. The episode ends with Sumeet taking vow not remove the veil unless Shlok does it.
