The episode starts with Rani showing an ancestral maang tika that get passed on to generations from mother in law to daughter in law. She plans to give it to Surili and Swatilekha asks why she didn’t consider her deserving for it as she’s also a daughter in law of the house. Rani says that becoming a daughter in law and actually bearing the responsibilities are two different things. She says that she may have differences with Surili as her ways are quite different. However she’s the one who fulfills all the responsibilities of the house. Swatilekha gets upset about the same.
Roshni tells Mohit that they are going to the palace and the facilities there would be extravagant. Shiv and Surili comes there and takes them to car. Roshni tries sitting with Shiv making excuse for leg room but Shiv denies saying that Surili has motion sickness. Roshni tries to make it awkward by praising Shiv just like he was in the past when they were together. Surili gets awkward but doesn’t show it on her face. They all leave. Swatilekha fumes that she now has to welcome Surili home. Raghavendra asks her not to worry as everything is going to end soon.
Raghavendra who’s following Shiv and Surili finds them going the other way. Roshni upon reaching there asks what place it is as it doesn’t seem like palace. Shiv says it’s their guest house and Surili has already arranged for all the needed amenities for her with workers there. Roshni tries objecting but Shiv convinces her. Surili gets call from Rani about their arrival and she says they would reach soon. She leaves with Shiv. Raghav decides to investigate more about the lady. Mohit gets excited seeing the place but Roshni asks him not to get used to it as they have better place to go.
Shiv gets surprised seeing the grand welcome. Rani reveals that she’s welcoming the grand daughter/son of the palace and Shiv gets surprised to know that Surili is pregnant. However he doesn’t show that on his face. Rani and Sam dance and celebrate the happy news. Swati bound with jealousy cuts the ancestral jewel into pieces and keeps it back in the box. Rani brings the jewel box and Shiv asks Surili about hiding about her pregnancy. Surili taunts him in return. Swatilekha pushes the jewel box and Rani gets upset that it’s broken into pieces. She accuses Swati for it but Swati puts up an act. Raghav also supports her. Surili assures Rani to mend the jewel by next day before pooja and asks her not to worry. Rani wishes for it to happen.
Precap: Rani says that time for pooja is running and wonders where Shivendra is. Just then Shiv comes with Roshni in his hands.
