The episode starts with Bhagwati saying it’s a good sign and says it means Shiv is going to get married soon. Bhagwati asks Shiv who is he thinking about? Shiv says to Bhagwati that he is thinking about Shakti. Mandira asks Shiv why is he thinking about Shakti? Shiv says he is thinking about how to help Shakti as there is a marriage in Shakti’s house. Koyal comments on Shiv. Shiv apologises to Koyal. Mandira asks Shiv in her heart to get habituated thinking about Shakti as he and Shakti will never get together. Mandira vows to Shiv about it in her heart.
Rimjim says to Dharam that she knows why Shakti is absent minded. Rimjim says Shakti is thinking about her as Rimjim is leaving this house. Rimjim reminds Shakti how she used to always fight for her when she was in trouble. Shakti says to Rimjim that even after her marriage she will come to her aid if she is in trouble. Rimjim says to Shakti that she knows. Rimjim ties Rakhi to Shakti and says to Shakti from today onwards she is not only her sister but also her brother. Shakti says to Rimjim that she doesn’t need to be her brother to protect her and says she can protect Rimjim just as a sister. Shakti vows to Rimjim in her heart that she will find out if Ranjan is really a good match for her or not. Dharam asks Rimjim and Shakti what should he do about these gifts? Shakti and Rimjim take their gifts.
Shiv says to Nandu that he wants Shakti to be a part of his life and says to Nandu that’s why he wanted Shakti to be his friend. Nandu says to Shiv that he might not want Shakti to be his friend. Nandu says to Shiv that he might love Shakti. Shiv hearing this gets seizures. Shiv says it’s wrong and says he can’t love anyone and thinks to himself if anyone gets close to him they will only end up being destroyed. Nandu apologises to Shiv and says to Shiv that he will speak about love in front of him again. Nandu gives medicine to Shiv and he takes it. Shiv calms himself down.
Ranjan, Babli, and Ranjan’s brother in law come to Sharma Sadan. Manorama invites Ranjan’s family into the house. Ranjan says to Manorama that Babli wanted to do tie Rakhi to Rimjim that’s why they came here. Shakti says to Ranjan and his family that Rimjim tied Rakhi to her and it is her duty to protect Rimjim. Shakti asks Ranjan to be careful. Babli ties Rakhi to Rimjim.
Ranjan’s brother in law calls Manorama to a side. Ranjan asks Manorama to gift Babli something so that they can also tell his family how great of a gift they gave to Babli. Manorama says to Ranjan’s brother in law that she will give Rs 5116 to Babli. Ranjan’s brother in law asks Manorama if she is insulting them by giving this. Manorama asks Ranjan’s brother in law what do they want? Ranjan’s brother in law says to Manorama it would be good if she gives something like gold jewelry to Babli. Ranjan’s brother in law reminds Manorama of the bangles she is wearing. Manorama says to Ranjan’s brother in law that she can’t gift these as these bangles were the last moments left by her mother to her.
Ranjan’s brother in law blackmails Manorama saying if she is stingy today with giving a gift to Babli then tomorrow they might be stingy with Rimjim’s happiness in their house. Ranjan’s brother in law reminds Manorama of Shakti’s newspaper photo and says Rimjim will not have a happy life because of Manorama being stingy today. Manorama hearing this decides to gift her gold bangles to Babli. Shakti eavesdrops on Ranjan’s brother in law and Manorama’s conversation. Shakti says to herself she will also see how Ranjan’s family will leave with the gold bangles.
