The episode starts with Nandu knocking on Shakti’s door. Shakti asks from inside her room who is it and says she is changing. Nandu says to Shakti that he needs to give her this letter. Shakti takes the letter from inside her room without showing her face as she is changing clothes. Nandu later says to Shakti that he will wait for Shakti’s reply.
Manorama asks Nandu to come and have some tea. Shakti is shown to be reading the letter.
Shakti thinks what is the truth that Shiv is speaking about. Shakti reads the letter. Shiv hopes that Shakti will forgive him after reading that letter.
Manorama asks Nandu what is in the letter as Shakti has been reading the letter the whole night. Shakti comes to Manorama and Kishore and asks them if she could go to Shiv’s house at this time. Manorama asks Shakti why is that. Shakti says she needs to answer Shiv for his letter. Nandu leaves with Shakti.
Bhagwathi asks Shiv why is he looking tensed. Shiv says Nandu went to give the letter to Shakti last night and he hasn’t returned till now.
Nandu comes and says he brought Shakti’s reply. Shakti comes in front of Shiv and asks Shiv to choose a hand. Shiv chooses a hand. Shakti opens her hand and shows a date in her hand. Shakti says when they start something auspicious they offer date as a good sign. Nandu asks Shakti if this means her answer is yes. Shiv asks what would her reply be if he chose this hand. Shakti shows that in her other hand there is Ganesh and says even if he chose this hand her answer would still be yes.
Bhagwati asks Shiv what about his choice. Shiv agrees to marry Shakti. Bhagwati dances in celebration. Bhagwati asks Raghunath to call Kishore and fix a date for the marriage and says tomorrow Haldi ceremony should begin. Bhagwati feels relieved as Shakti still said yes after knowing the truth .
Shakti takes blessings from Raghunath. Gayatri hides behind Raghunath. Shakti later leaves from there. Shakti after coming outside thinks why is Dr Shiv not happy with this marriage.
Mandira comes and says to Shakti that she needs to be happy as she is going to marry the one she loves. Shakti asks Mandira why is she doing this marriage. Shakti says she knows that Mandira will never do something without her own profit. Keertan overhears Mandira and Shakti’s conversation.
