The episode starts with everyone returning back to Atwal Mansion after Kuldeep’s final rites. When Heer tries to step inside, Rajwinder warns her to stop and not move a step forward. Navjot questions Rajwinder about what she means. The latter calls Heer inauspicious and for being reason for Kuldeep’s death just on day of marriage. Beant Singh says the house where Heer is not respected, he will also let her stay there. But Heer denies to leave from Atwal mansion. She says Beant Singh that he has taught her to fulfil her duties so she will do the same.
Heer tells she will stay in Atwal Mansion till Kuldeep’s murderer is found. Rajwinder says no one will support her going against her. But Teji says that she will support Heer. Jarnail raises his hand on Teji for speaking against Rajwinder but gets stopped by his father. He says he will stand by both Teji and Heer and says they are not his daughter in laws but rather daughters. Rajwinder calls Heer a curse for the Atwal and she doesn’t want to stake remaining happiness of their family because of her.
Teji brings Heer inside the house supporting her. While walking Heer gets hurt, Ranjha thinks to support her but stops himself. Jarnail feels frustrated with the situation. Mr Atwal promises Beant Singh that Heer will stay like a daughter in Atwal Mansion. Beant and his family returns back home. Heer comes to her room and remembers her memories with Kuldeep. She cries thinking of his confession and promises. She shuts her ears and throws away everything feeling stressed. Ranjha feels Heer needs his support and rushes to her room. Teji stops him and says to let Heer cry and do whatever she wants or else it will become deep wound for her later.
Teji looks at Ranjha being overstressed and tells him that she considers Heer as younger sister and will look after her. Ranjha thanks her for her support and leaves. Mr Atwal cries and says whoever he loves gets separated from him. He opens his pagdi but Ranjha stops him and says opening it indicates being upset with Babaji so they should not do it. Kuldeep’s father regrets losing Kuldeep and not being able to do his responsibility as his father and feels incapable of doing anything. Ranjha consoles him and encourages him not to lose his strength.
Ranjha hugs him but misses to see his mother’s photograph kept on the table. He says that his mother always used to say that Sardar without turban is like soldier without sword. He ties the turban back on his forehead. Sartaj Singh Atwal promises to keep the turban tied and Ranjha leaves taking his blessing. Sartaj sees Ranjha’s mother’s picture again. Rajwinder sits crying thinking of Kuldeep. Her friend provokes her against Heer. Teji is taking food for Heer when her mother stops her. The episode ends with Teji stopping her mother from interfering in her house matters. Heer keeps crying sitting alone.
