The episode starts with Santa entering the house of Akash and then starts giving gifts to one by one. Santa also dances around and then makes Aparna and Suresh sit next to each other and give them a bouquet, also a pillow that is in heart shape. Akash looks confused while everyone looks happy. Aparna inquires the Santa about his/her identity. Pallavi reveals her face. Aparna gets shocked. Kusum blames Pallavi because Akash lost his job. Akash defends Pallavi, saying that because of the latter, only he got his job back. Aparna gets irked. Akash tries to speak with Pallavi, but the latter ignores him and then wishes Aparna for her wedding anniversary. She then seeks Kusum’s help to make arrangements for Aparna and Suresh’s anniversary party. Kusum questions Pallavi for addressing her as Chachi. Ruchi says Akash’s Chachi is their’s too, then goes inside with Pallavi to make arrangements.
Akash decides to go with Pallavi, but Subash stops him and encourages him to confess his feelings to Pallavi. Meanwhile, Kusum scares Aparna by saying that Pallavi can become her daughter in law. Aparna gets upset. Here, Deepika reaches the police station. She recalls Pallavi’s firm action against the management in Akash’s matter. She feels just like Pallavi she has to take a stand for herself. Varun calls her. He gets happy learning Deepika’s decision to file a case against the one who tried to molest her. He encourages her to do it. Deepika gets hopeful.
Here, Pallavi says the arrangements are almost done. Subash once again encourages Akash to speak with Pallavi about his feelings. Akash obliges then goes to Pallavi. He gets nervous around her. He then insists on helping Pallavi in the kitchen. Pallavi agrees.
Deepika explains to the inspector what she has gone through because of Mr.Malhotra and her wish to file a case on him. The inspector saves the details Deepika shared with him about Mr.Malhotra. Meanwhile, Subash mocks Akash for his inability to confess his feelings to Pallavi. He then encourages Akash once again. Tanvi and her family arrive at Aparna and Suresh’s wedding anniversary party. Rekha gets shocked seeing Pallavi there, so she indirectly taunts Aparna by saying both Akash and Pallavi’s friendship has grown. Aparna gets upset.
Akash follows Pallavi to the kitchen to speak with her. Pallavi is busy preparing for a cake. She compares friendship with baking a cake and also shares her disappointment towards Akash for hiding his job loss truth from her and breaking the first rule of friendship. Akash apologises to her. He then gets nervous around Pallavi, so the latter questions him the reason behind it. Akash struggles to answer.
Here, Mr.Malhotra gets furious, learning Deepika’s decision to file a case on him. He decides to find out Deepika’s background to trouble her. He notices Varun from his cabin and gets shocked learning that Deepika’s husband is Varun. He decides to make Deepika suffer using Varun, so he calls Varun inside. Varun gets happy.
During the party, Pallavi and Ruchi have a conversation about Aparna’s saree. Pallavi informs Ruchi that the saree is her selection. Kusum compliments Aparna’s saree. Ruchi informs them that Pallavi selected this saree and also says both Pallavi and Aparna have similar tastes. Meanwhile, Akash thinks in his mind that he will confess his feelings to Pallavi at any cost.
Precap: Akash proposes to Pallavi. Later, Aparna warns Pallavi to stay away from Akash. Meanwhile, Akash receives a call from Jaydev, who tells him that he wants to talk to him about Pallavi’s marriage. Akash looks happy.
