The episode starts with Kusum praising Aparna. She also encourages her to be the same. Aparna leaves the place. Sandhya asks Kusum, which shows mother in law is she? Kusum says she is a student of those mother in law’s which they see in a daily soap. Meanwhile, the doctor informs Tanvi that both Deepika and her child are safe. Varun and Jaydev arrive there. The doctor tells them that Deepika has pregnancy complications, so she has to find an alternative job. Jaydev gets worried, wondering how to find money to help Varun. Just then, Jaydev receives Aparna’s invitation for the puja. Jaydev gets happy that Aparna is accepting Pallavi as her daughter in law. He goes outside, making up an excuse. Varun follows him. He expresses his worries with Jaydev, but the latter assures him to arrange funds, then he leaves.
In the hotel, Ruchi and other employees discuss Akash and Pallavi and aren’t answering the calls. So she failed to inform them about their job being at stake. She also talks about the fewer possibilities of Akash and Pallavi finding a job in their field again. Meanwhile, Jaydev arrives at the Awasti’s house to take part in the puja. He gets happy when Akash informs him about Aparna’s acceptance. Here, Pallavi searches for her phone. Rinku finds Pallavi’s phone, so he gives it to her. Pallavi gets confused seeing the messages and calls of Ruchi’s.
There, Ruchi tells her coworkers that Pallavi should have managed everything if she is here. She then receives the call from Pallavi. She tells her about HODs threat. Pallavi gets shocked. She wonders what she should do as she has puja in her house, but Akash might lose his job too. Meanwhile, Aparna asks Kusum to take Pallavi from her room to take part in the job. Kusum finds Pallavi isn’t in her room. So she comes out of the room and creates a scene over Pallavi’s absence. Aparna gets happy thinking that Pallavi herself dig her own grave as she didn’t give her any extra work. Akash takes a stand for Pallavi. Kusum taunts him. Akash decides to find Pallavi believing that she must be inside the house.
Pallavi get stuck in the traffic. She thinks in her mind that God is testing her. She feels that in order to save Akash’s job , she has to leave the puja, which is the right decision. There, Jaydev speaks in favour of Pallavi, so Kusum starts taunting him. Aparna enjoys everything silently. Kusum questions Jaydev’s upbringing, so Subash shouts at her. Meanwhile, Ruchi lies to the HOD that Pallavi has arrived at the hotel. Tina welcomes the food inspection team. She then instigates the HOD against both Akash and Pallavi. Ruchi gets upset.
Here, Akash gets upset learning that Pallavi went to the hotel. He shares his disappointment with Jaydev. Jaydev requests him to listen to Pallavi’s side as he feels Pallavi must have some valid reasons, but Akash refuses to listen to him. In the hotel, HOD gets furious when he faces the question from the food inspection team. Pallavi reaches the hotel. She decides to get inside the hotel at any cost. Meanwhile, Akash decides to do the puja without Pallavi, but the priest says it’s not possible.
