The episode starts with Kusum complaining to Gayatri about her husband watching the news and cricket all the time. Mangal gives black coffee to them. Kusum’s husband goes to his room commenting on Kusum and Mangal. Mangal serves Gayatri’s favorite pakoda and chutney. Gayatri feels happy. Kusum asks Gayatri what she thinks about Karthik’s marriage.
Lady fans of Karthik feel jealous seeing Lakshmi’s luck. Karthik asks Lakshmi if she came to participate in the competition. Lakshmi refuses and leaves from there leaving her poetry paper.
Gayatri tells Kusum that she doubts Jia’s intentions as she came home in the night. Kusum asks her to not worry and says Karthik is like Adit so he will marry a girl of her choice. She asks Gayatri what kind of girl she likes. Gayatri says the qualities she wants in Karthik’s wife.
A volunteer girl comes to Lakshmi and tells Lakshmi that she can participate in the competition. Lakshmi asks how can they change rules after knowing she knows Karthik. She says her values and self-respect are more than anything. Gayatri says to Kusum she wants a girl who considers their respect more than her self respect.
Lakshmi comes to her shop. Shanti asks Lakshmi to give the money. Lakshmi tells her she didn’t participate in the competition to win the money. Shanthi scolds her.
On the way, Gayatri recalls a lady curse and fears Karthik will leave her. Gayatri returns home and hears Sanjana talking on a call about Karthik and his lady fans. Gayatri asks Sanjana to stop her bakwas. Sanjana comments Karthik is changing and he will not return home for her. Gayatri asks her to see what happens. Karthik receives a call and after talking on call Karthik returns home in a hurry. He calls for Gayatri. Sanjana asks Gayatri to calm down and tells him that Gayatri is fine. Gayatri comes there. Sanjana says she lost in the challenge. Karthik asks what kind of prank they played and what if he met with an accident while returning home in a hurry. Gayatri slaps Sanjana and warns her to never keep this kind of challenge again. Karthik calms down Gayathri.
Adit tells his kids that he will take them to film if they drink milk quickly. They drink milk. Adit says he will take them to a movie. Mangal says they need to book tickets early. Adit criticises her illiteracy saying she doesn’t understand an English movie. He excludes her from the outing. Mangal’s daughter makes fun of her mother. Mangal goes to the kitchen. Adit tells his parents that he wants to arrange Italian food for his new boss who is coming to their housewarming from France. He says it’s about his promotion. Kusum agrees knowing it’s a matter of Adit promotion. Adit asks Mangal to finalise the menu. Mangal thinks Adit is finalising her list. Later Mangal sees a viral video of Karthik and Lakshmi.
