The episode starts with Dharma saying to Anandi that Ashok isn’t getting up. Why he is sleeping a lot in this situation? Anandi says that it seems he was pretty tired. Ashok wakes up. He is shocked to see his house is burning. He asks her how did his house caught the fire? Someone set the fire deliberately. Dharma says that they escaped from the fire. He shouldn’t think about it all. Our Lakshmi saved them from the fire. Ashok says to Kaurwaki that she hates him. Then why did she saved them? He would have think of kill him in the fire. Kaurwaki says that he is right. She would have done the same. But Devi risked her life to save him.
Kaurwaki says that Devi saved his life. She is loving him. She proved her love for him and completed the vows. Kaurwaki recalls the way Devi said to her that Ashok will love her when her came to know that she saved his life.
Ashok hates her but he starts love her how much he hate her after he learnt the truth. Kaurwaki says that she don’t need to tell them that she saved him. Only Devi saw Kaurwaki saved him. She asks her to lie them. She doesn’t want any credit for saved him. He would have saved an animal in his place too. She can’t allow anyone to die in the fire. Devi says that Ashok is her whole world. Meanwhile, Ashok says to Devi that she risked her life to save him. She is Magad’s Devi and also his heart. He kneel down in front of her and kissed her hand. She says to Dharma that Devi risked her life to save him. When his family was struggling he was sleeping. He used to wake up hearing a small sound. How come he slept well in this mess. He can’t understand it. The servant reveals that Kaurwaki gave the sleeping medicine to him. Ashok scolds Kaurwaki for it. He demands her to answer him.
Devi distracts him by showing her wound. Dharma asks Ashok to take her to the doctor. Meanwhile, Badra’s henchman hypnotized Bindusara and takes him out. Meanwhile, Helena and Diana are happy to see Ashok’s house burning. Diana says that Devi fell into her trap. She is their wealth. Meanwhile, Ashok applied the medicine to Devi’s wound. He says that she can ask him anything for saving his life. She tells him that she isn’t expecting anything from him. She says that she needs only one thing. He shouldn’t get angry with her for it. Ashok assures to give it. Devi asks him to send Kaurwaki back to Kaling. He might free her. Ashok refuses to do it reasoning she is his slave. He locked her here to punish her. Devi argues with him for playing with a girl life. She manipulated him that she is diverting him from his aim. He wants to rule Magad but she is stopping him from achieve it. Kaurwaki is a head ache to him. Ashok says that he hates her so he can’t send her away. Devi complaints that he fell in love with her that is why he couldn’t send her.
Helena hears the bell sound. Samandu informs her that Bindusara isn’t in the palace. Meanwhile, Anandi and Udit ask Kaurwaki to apologise to Ashok. Ashok says that he is allowing her to leave. Devi says that she gave freedom to her. She isn’t interested in this married life. When she got a chance she used it. Later, Dharma is upset with Kaurwaki. She says that they are making fun of the relationship. Ashok scolds Kaurwaki for hurt his mom. She is playing with her emotions. Kaurwaki leaves from there.
