The episode starts with Kusum asking Adit did the meeting go well? Adit says when I am outside this house everything goes well but When I come home everything feels wrong. Kusum and Mangal feel bad. Adit says sorry and says he cracked the deal. Mangal thanks god. She enters the kitchen. Lakshmi goes behind Mangal and asks why she is bearing everything. She asks why she is not taking a stand for herself like she used to do before her marriage. Mangal justifies her actions. Lakshmi says you’re my inspiration but you changed alot after marriage. Lakshmi hears calling bell sound and opens the door.
The delivery boy brings the cake to Adit’s house. Lakshmi says to the delivery boy that he might have come to the wrong address. The delivery boy says the address to Lakshmi. Lakshmi says this is the right address. Adit tries to deny that he ordered the cake. The delivery boy remind Adit. Adit stops the delivery boy from speaking and says he ordered the cake and takes it.
Lakshmi sees the delivery boy dropped his tip. Kids happily opens the cake. Karthik sees special message on cake and questions Adit about it. Adit lies that he ordered it as he cracked the deal.
Lakshmi overhears the delivery boy saying to someone over the phone that Adit tried to deny that he ordered the cake. The delivery boy later says he saw Adit with another woman but in his house there is someone else. Mangal tries to give water to everyone. Karthik tries to help her. Mangal asks where is Lakshmi. Adit realises Lakshmi is outside and rushes out. Lakshmi confronts the Delivery boy and asks him to tell the truth. The delivery boy is about to tell the truth but Adit comes there and sends the Delivery boy.
Kids say they are going to cut the cake. Karthik stops them and says it’s good if Mangal cut the cake. He praises Mangal and asks her to cut the cake. Adit gestures to Mangal to do it. Mangal takes the knife to cut the cake but Adit recalls his promise to Soumya and insults Mangal. He says he ordered the cake for the office people who helped him but Mangal is snatching the credit. He questions Mangal why she troubled his parents by leaving all the packing on them. Kusum clarifies to him that packers did the work. Adit asks who hired packers. Karthik says he hired the Packers. Gayatri comments Karthik can’t see anyone’s pain.
Adit lashes out at Karthik and warns him to not be involved in his house matters. Gayatri gets angry. Mangal tries to say Karthik didn’t do any mistake but Adit doesn’t listen to her. Adit comments it’s all her mistake. Karthik says to Adit that it’s not Mangal’s mistake. Adit claps and says they are hiding their mistakes well. He comments on Karthik. Lakshmi tries to say what Karthik did is correct. Mangal stops Lakshmi. Adit gives 10k to Karthik for arranging packers. Kusum stops Adit and tells him that it’s not the way to behave with Karthik. Gayatri loses her cool. Kusum rebukes Adit. She tells him that she is feeling ashamed seeing his values. Adit says it’s all his mistake. He thanks Karthik and admits that he is the worst son, unlike Karthik.
