The episode starts with HemRaj questioning Chanchal about the entire family standing in one place. Chanchal gives him an excuse about puja. HemRaj senses she is tensed, so he questions her. Naren covers up with his lies. Ronak makes a noise, so HemRaj questions all of them. Kunal and others give an excuse. HemRaj gets convinced, so he leaves from there. The Ratansi’s gets relieved.
In Upleta, Nandini tries to convince Mani not to check the jewellery box, but Mani remains stubborn in her decision. She demands the keys from Ishwar. Mehul, Mitesh, Nandini, and Ishwar are signs at each other, which Mani notices, so she grows suspicious. Ishwar gives her the keys. Mani gets happy, and then she goes inside. Mehul leaves asking Nandini, Ishwar, and Mitesh to handle the situation, and then he leaves from there. Nandini questions Ishwar for giving the keys to Mani. Ishwar tells her that he is helpless.
There, Chanchal requests Naren to hide Ronak’s drunk act from HemRaj. Naren assures her the same. HemRaj arrives there. He questions the conversation that’s happening between the mother-son duo. Naren shares a hug with him. He again thanks HemRaj for accepting her and Nandini’s marriage. Meanwhile, Mani questions Ishwar for giving her cupboard keys instead of the jewellery box one. Ishwar pretends to be shocked. He then puts up an act of scolding Mitesh, then he sends him out with the jewellery box. Both Nandini and Ishwar pretend to have a discussion about everything that happened in Naren’s house. Nandini leaves the place with books. Ishwar recalls HemRaj’s demand, so he remains stressed, which Mani notices it, so she demands an answer from Ishwar. Ishwar remains silent.
HemRaj inquires with Naren about his meeting with Nandini for the first time. Naren shares with both HemRaj and Chanchal about his meeting with Nandini for the first time. He also tells them that Nandini convinces Vishaka and her family to accept Vineet, who tried to elope with Vineet. Chanchal reminds Naren about his earlier decision to elope, but he changed it after Nandini’s advice. HemRaj praises Nandini for her following the traditions. Naren tells HemRaj that Nandini isn’t against all traditions but social malpractices like dowry. Chanchal gets tensed, so she makes up an excuse to leave the room, but Naren also leaves with her. HemRaj tells that the entire family should follow his rules even though Nandini is going to be part of their family who is against dowry.
At night, Mani gets frustrated seeing Ishwar being silent, so she demands him the truth. Ishwar informs her about HemRaj’s dowry demand. Mani gets shocked learning HemRaj’s double face nature. But she tells Ishwar that they can able to fulfil HemRaj’s demand, and then she opens the jewellery box with hope. Ishwar fails to stop her. Mani gets shocked seeing the box is empty, so she cries hard. Nandini and Mitesh also arrive there.
Mani senses Ishwar, Nandini, and Mitesh are hiding something from her, so she demands the truth from them. Nandini confesses everything to her. Mani broke down, saying all three of them did not even consider her as a family member, so they hid this from her. Mitesh explains that they are scared of her, but she is like their mother only. Mani scolds Nandini in a loving way, but she also praises the latter, which makes them all happy.
