The episode starts with Mangal telling Lakshmi how Adit saved her and taught a lesson to Nithin. Lakshmi expresses gratitude to Adit. Adit rebukes him. Mangal asks Adit how he knows that she was here. Adit says her mom informed him. He receives Amma’s call. They leave from there.
At home, Shanti taunts Lakshmi. Lakshmi asks Mangal not to search any more matches for her marriage. Lakshmi says she wants to stay alone. Mangal asks how can she stay alone all the life. Lakshmi takes a promise from Mangal. Mangal asks why she made her swear on her and asks who will search matches for her. Kusum says she will bring a good match for Lakshmi. She promises Mangal that she will fix Lakshmi’s marriage in one month that too in a great house. Shanti feels puzzled.
Karthik couldn’t concentrate in his rehearsal. Jia asks him what happened. Karthik tells Jia that he is feeling bad for Lakshmi. Jia gets hyper and asks Karthik to concentrate on her not Lakshmi. Jia understands her mistakes and tells Karthik that Lakshmi will get a better match than Rohan. She tells Karthik that her mom is coming to meet his mother to fix their marriage. Karthik still thinks about Lakshmi.
Kusum says to Gayatri that she wants Karthik to marry Lakshmi. Gayatri asks how it’s possible as tomorrow Jia’s mother is coming to talk about Jia-Karthik’s marriage. Kusum asks Gayatri to make the correct decision and doesn’t give your permission to Karthik-Jia’s marriage. She says they have to do Karthik’s marriage with Lakshmi to fulfill her promise to Mangal and Shanti. Gayatri agrees.
Karthik calls Lakshmi and comforts her. Lakshmi sees Lipika calling her continuously. A boy sells balloons to Karthik. One of the balloons from Karthik goes to Lakshmi. Karthik tells Lakshmi that she will get married in a goof house where she will get all the respect. Lakshmi smiles. She tells Karthik that Lipika is calling and cuts the call. Lipika asks Lakshmi to go to the location which she sent to her. Lakshmi questions whose location it is. Lipika says it’s Shanti’s order for her.
At the dining table, Adit scolds Mangal for selecting wrong matches. Kusum asks Adit to calm down and tells him that she took responsibility for Lakshmi’s marriage. Adit asks who will marry an uneducated girl. He asks why any high family guy would agree to marry Lakshmi. Kusum says she will get a great match for Lakshmi within a month.
Lakshmi goes to Baba’s place with Shanti. Lakshmi asks Shanti to not believe Baba’s. Baba tells Lakshmi has a past life Dosh which will be removed if she does nirjal vrath up to Navami(3 days). Lakshmi refuses to do it but Shanti forces her to do it.
