The episode starts with Surekha showing the dresses that she bought for Chinmay. Chinmay says to Surekha that he thinks Surekha bought these dresses for Ishaan and when he didn’t like it, Surekha brought these dresses for him. Chinmay reminds Surekha how much she used to love Ishaan over him. Chinmay says it is too late for her love. Chinmay sends Surekha out of his room. Savi witnesses it. Savi looks into Chinmay’s eyes and says to Chinmay that she is looking into his eyes to see if there is any humanity left in it and comments on him. Chinmay comments on Savi and leaves from there. Savi asks Jeetu how can he stay with Chinmay and comments on him. Jeetu says to Savi how Chinmay asked him about his baby and says he remembers every detail of his baby. Savi after hearing about it thinks she might be wrong.
Surekha thinks about Chinmay while boiling milk. Savi stops the stove when the milk is about to spill out of the utensil. Savi says to Surekha that when she and her mother used to be upset with each other they used to make Modak for each other and says it is their reset button. Savi says there is a reset button in every relationship and asks Surekha to think about what is their rest button. Savi leaves from there. Surekha decides to make all of Chinmay’s favourite food.
At the dining table, Reeva says to Surekha that she is looking happy today. Surekha says to Reeva about the rest button. Everyone comes to eat food.
Savi praises Anvi seeing the play she has written. Savi later announces to Bhosle family that Anvi will be the cultural secretary this time. Durva asks Anvi what does she know about Shriram. Savi says the qualities of Sriram and thinks of Ishaan.
Surekha that Chinmay has also returned home after Vanvaas. Yashwant asks Surekha not to compare Chinmay with Sriram.
Surekha spots Chinmay and says to Chinmay that she made all of his favourite food today. Chinmay says to Surekha that all of the family will eat together like the old days.
Chinmay makes Ishaan sit beside him and asks Surekha to serve them. Surekha tries to feed Chinmay with his own hands. Chinmay reminds Surekha that she used to first feed Ishaan and then later feed him. Chinmay comments saying she only used to love Ishaan. Chinmay says to Surekha that he ate his food with Jeetu. Chinmay leaves from there.
