The episode starts with Lakshmi saying to Mangal that her and Karthik’s worlds are different. She says I can’t change myself so much so Please say no to Karthik. Kusum comes there and hears everything. Kusum takes her phone and leaves. Mangal says she didn’t expect this behaviour from Karthik. Shanti and Lipika come there. They taunt Lakshmi for rejecting Karthik. Mangal says she doesn’t want Lakshmi to face any trouble in her married life so Lakshmi’s decision is final. Shanti asks Mangal to not let trouble enter her life by rejecting Karthik’s alliance. She asks her to think about Kusum.
Kusum goes to Gayatri’s house. She confronts Karthik why he troubled Lakshmi by giving her a Western dress. Karthik says he didn’t ask Lakshmi to wear a Western dress. Kusum asks who did it if he is not. Karthik sees Sanjana. Mangal says to Shanti that she will manage Kusum. Shanti calls Lakshmi unlucky and says She will never get married.
Kusum sees Karthik seeing Sanjana. She understands Sanjana is behind the mishap. She slaps Sanjana and warns her to stay away from their house matters. She leaves from there.
Mangal asks Shanti why she is living on Lakshmi’s money if she feels Lakshmi is unlucky. Shanti asks Mangal to never talk about Lakshmi’s marriage in her house again. Mangal rebukes Shanti. Lakshmi asks Mangal to go home. Mangal leaves from there.
Gayatri sits in an upset mood. Karthik tells Gayatri that it’s just a misunderstanding and he didn’t do anything. Gayatri asks who will clear this mess. Karthik assures her that he will handle everything and make Mangal and Lakshmi happy. Gayatri asks him to not talk to her if he fails to fulfill his promise. Later Gayatri calls Kusum and tells her about Karthik’s promise. Kusum says she will talk to Mangal.
Mangal comes home. Kusum tells Mangal that Sanjana is behind Lakshmi’s humiliation. Mangal says she feels relaxed knowing it. She asks Kusum if she can inform Lakshmi about it. Kusum agrees. Mangal calls Lakshmi but the call doesn’t get connected. The next day, Mangal goes to the market to purchase vegetables. She gets surprised to see Disguised Karthik.
