The episode starts with Mangal recognising Karthik. She teases him. Karthik asks how did she recognise him. Mangal says he doesn’t know about vegetables and asks why he disguised himself as a vegetable vendor. Karthik says he wants to seek her forgiveness. Mangal asks Karthik to come home and forgives him.
Sonu asks Lakshmi to not bear Shanti tantrums. Lakshmi asks him to ignore Shanti’s words. Karthik asks Mangal what does Lakshmi likes as I want to surprise her. Mangal says Lakshmi likes red colour bangles, stickers etc. Karthik requests her to not leak this matter to Lakshmi. Mangal agrees. Kusum overhears everything.
Kusum calls Gayatri and tells Gayatri that Karthik is going to surprise Lakshmi. Gayatri says they need to go to Lakshmi’s house. Kusum asks what’s the need of it. Gayatri asks her to come to Lakshmi’s house and cuts the call.
Lakshmi calls Mangal but she doesn’t respond. A kid comes to Lakshmi and says to Lakshmi that brother is calling her to the park. Sonu asks if that guy is Nithin. Lakshmi says she will not leave him. She leaves. Kid informs Sonu that Karthik came to meet Lakshmi and asks Sonu to not spoil the surprise. Sonu agrees.
Nidhi and Gayatri’s husband come home and surprises Gayatri. Gayatri tells them that she has a surprise for them. Nidhi says she needs rest and goes to her room. Gayatri asks her husband to come with her. He agrees.
Lakshmi comes to the park and sees “Sorry Lakshmi” written with flowers petals and sees beside it there are red colour bangles etc. Lakshmi thinks this can’t be done by Nitin. Karthik smiles to himself witnessing Lakshmi from afar.
Karthik sings the song and comes in front of Lakshmi. He forgets the lyrics. Lakshmi finishes the song. Karthik asks how she knew this song. Lakshmi reveals to him it’s her lyrics. Karthik feels surprised. He praises her talent. Lakshmi says they are not equal. Karthik clarifies to her that they are equal and perfect Jodi. Lakshmi smiles and tells him that she will leave. Karthik stops Lakshmi and tells her that he never wants her to change her appearance. He tells her that yesterday’s mishap was done by Sanjana and clarifies to her that he likes her. He apologises to her. Lakshmi says it’s not needed and tells him that she is not angry with him. Karthik says it’s his duty to bring a smile on her face.
Lakshmi receives Mangal’s call. She picks up the call. Mangal asks Lakshmi to come home with Karthik. Lakshmi agrees. Karthik gives his gift to Lakshmi.
