The episode starts with Karthik giving the gift to Lakshmi. Lakshmi asks what’s it. Karthik says it’s her favourite colour saree and accessories. Lakshmi smiles. Karthik thanks her for forgiving her. They leave from there. Kid asks Sonu about Karthik’s gift. Sonu says Karthik gave Shagun to Lakshmi. He decides to teach a lesson to Shanti.
Sonu goes to Shanti’s house. He calls Shanti. Everyone assembles there. Shanti asks him what happened. Sonu tells Shanti that Karthik and Lakshmi’s marriage is finalised. Shanti’s husband asks how it’s possible. Sonu says Karthik gave Shagun to Lakshmi. Neighbour ladies praise Lakshmi’s luck. Shanti says she doesn’t believe. Kusum comes there with all her family. She asks Shanti to trust them.
Later, Karthik and Lakshmi come to Shanti’s house. Karthik feels surprised to see his father. He hugs him. Karthik’s father tells Karthik that he came to be part of his important day. Gayatri’s car driver brings Shagun. Mangal sees it and questions about it. Gayatri reveals that they came to do Bariksha ceremony. Mangal and Karthik get shocked. Kusum asks Mangal to get Lakshmi ready.
Mangal takes Lakshmi inside. Karthik tries to tell Gayatri about his intention to gift saree and accessories to Lakshmi but she doesn’t listen to him. Mangal asks Lakshmi if she talked to Karthik. Lakshmi says everything is fine. Kusum comes there and asks Mangal to get Lakshmi ready quickly. Mangal asks if Karthik really gave Shagun. Kusum asks Lakshmi to explain to Mangal. Lakshmi explains to Mangal how Karthik talked to her. Mangal feels happy. Kusum tells Mangal that Karthik is perfect for Lakshmi. She asks Lakshmi if she would like to get married to Karthik. Lakshmi agrees to marry Karthik. Mangal happily hugs Lakshmi.
Adit makes Karthik sit on the sofa. He thinks Karthik’s life will be spoiled like him after he gets married to Lakshmi. Neighbors comment Lakshmi is lucky. Sonu taunts Shanti. Adit thanks Karthik for solving the issue. Karthik asks Gayatri to come aside but she denies it. Karthik feels conflicted. Mangal brings Lakshmi to the hall and makes her sit beside Karthik. Bhushan asks Mangal to take the position of Lakshmi’s parents to finish the ritual. Mangal feels happy. Gayatri asks Adit to join Mangal. Adit agrees. Gayatri starts doing Bariksha ceremony. She puts shagun bangle on Lakshmi’s hand. Karthik looks upset. Mangal puts tika on Karthik’s face and finishes the ceremony by feeding laddoo to Karthik.
