The episode starts with Kusum asking Mangal to tell Shanti to not create any trouble on Gayatri’s birthday. Mangal agrees. Kusum asks Adit to come to the party on time. Adit says he will come on time. Kusum says Karthik will celebrate Gayatri’s birthday party grandly. Adit says he will organise her birthday party too but she doesn’t agree. Kusum says she likes to spend her time in Puja. Adit tells his family that he will book a cab for them to reach the party. Adit’s father asks Adit to purchase a car. Adit says his budget is not enough. Mangal says they will go in an auto and she can adjust by making Akshat sit on her lap. Adit rebukes her.
Lakshmi who is working in the kitchen hears a calling bell sound. She sees Lipika seeing her mobile and without opening the door. She asks why can’t she open the door. Lakshmi opens the door. Karthik’s driver gives Karthik’s gift to her. Lakshmi opens the gift and feels happy seeing the saree.
Karthik gives a bouquet to Gayatri and wishes her a happy birthday. He promises her that he will fulfill whatever wish she asks him today. Gayatri smiles. Shanti takes a saree from Lakshmi and gives it to Lipika. Lakshmi says it’s her gift. Shanti taunts her. Lipika emotionally blackmails Lakshmi. Lakshmi asks Lipika to take the saree.
Adit and his family come to Gayatri’s birthday party. Kusum praises the decorations. Adit comments on it. Gayatri welcomes them warmly. She asks them where is Lakshmi. Mangal says Lakshmi is on the way. Sanjana tries to insult Kusum and her family. Kusum rebukes her.
Gayatri tells Mangal and Kusum that she talked to Pandit and fixed the marriage date. Sanjana asks why the rush. Gayatri makes her shut. Adit asks Gayatri about Karthik. Nidhi asks Karthik why he is waiting for Lakshmi and tells him that Jia is perfect for him. Sanjana comes there and tells Karthik that she wants to talk to him. Karthik sees Jia and her mom come to the party and tells Sanjana that he will talk to her later. Karthik walks to them.
Nidhi says Karthik is happy to meet Jia not Lakshmi. Mangal and Gayatri overhear it and get tensed. Karthik crosses Jia and goes to welcome Lakshmi. Jia gets shocked. Mangal and Kusum feel happy. Karthik gives rose to Lakshmi and welcomes her. Lipika tries to get his attention but she fails. Jia’s mother tells Jia that Karthik insulted them. Jia says Karthik might not have seen them.
Nidhi asks Karthik why he ignored Jia. Karthik says he doesn’t see Jia. He meets Jia and tells her that he didn’t see her. Jia comments that his concentration must be on Lakshmi. She praises Lakshmi. Karthik praises Lakshmi which makes Jia jealous. Mangal thanks Kusum for choosing Karthik for Lakshmi. Kusum smiles. She decides to talk to Gayatri regarding Jia. Karthik takes Lakshmi aside and thanks her for making Jia jealous. Lakshmi apologises to him for giving his gift to Lipika. Karthik says he knows how Shanti and Lipika treat her. Lakshmi takes their side. He says he knows her goodness. Kusum goes to meet Gayatri and witnesses Gayatri and Jia’s hug and thinks when they become close.
