The episode starts with Mangal preparing for Maata ki Chowk in her home. Kusum stops Chowk wale from singing the songs in Bollywood tunes. Kusum asks Chowkwale to sing the songs in traditional tunes. The Chowkwale agree.
Kusum asks Mangal to call Adit and tell him to come to Maata Ki Chowk as he is being late. Kusum agrees.
Adit doesn’t attend Mangal’s call. Adit and Sowmya talk about Karthik. Sowmya says to Adit that Karthik is doing this marriage because he likes Lakshmi. Adit says to Sowmya that Karthik will like Lakshmi in the beginning but after 4 days he will not Lakshmi. Sowmya asks Adit if he also liked Mangal in the beginning. Adit says to Sowmya that if she thinks he is with her because she got bored of Mangal. Adit says to Sowmya that he is with her because he loves her. Sowmya apologises to Adit.
Karthik says to Lakshmi that he would like to talk with her about something important. Karthik says he will leave and he asks Lakshmi to come after 2 min. Lakshmi agrees.
Gayatri gets a call from Jia. Gayatri says to Jia that she will come out and meet her. Gayatri meets Jia near a car. Jia says to Gayatri that she can’t do this anymore. Gayatri asks Jia to recall why is she doing this.
It is shown Gayatri says to Jia that she showed both of Karthik and Jia’s Kundali to many Pandits but everyone said the same thing that Karthik will die within a year if he does this marriage.
Gayatri assures Jia that she will do her wedding with Karthik once Karthik’s wedding is completed with Lakshmi. Gayatri says she will make Karthik divorce Lakshmi and do her marriage with Karthik so that the Dosh will not affect Karthik. Gayatri says to Jia in her heart that she will not allow Karthik to be with Jia. Gayatri assures Jia that she has full rights over Karthik. Mangal asks Gayatri how could she say that Jia has right over Karthik. Karthik and Lakshmi also come to Mangal and Gayatri. Gayatri explains that Jia is thinking Lakshmi will be upset with what happened yesterday anf she will not allow Karthik to be fiends with Jia. Gayatri says Jia is a friend of Karthik and she will always have this right. Lakshmi agrees with what Gayatri said. Kusum comes to Gayatri and calls everyone inside the house.
Sowmya talks to Adit and convinces Adit to attend Karthik and Lakshmi’s wedding and enjoy seeing him become the scapegoat. Adit agrees.
Gayatri’s husband asks Mangal where is Adit. Mangal says Adit will not be able to come here today as he is busy with work. Kusum takes Mangal to a side and asks Mangal to make Adit come here no matter what.
