The episode starts with Adit coming to Mangal and asks Mangal to sit in the car. Adit asks Mangal where does she needs to go. Mangal says she needs to go home. Adit agrees.
Karthik sees Lakshmi distressed and thinks this is not the right time to talk to Lakshmi.
Jia asks Gayatri what is going on and says to Gayatri that if Shanti’s words are true then she needs to break Karthik and Lakshmi’s wedding right away. Jia gets a call and she goes to take the call.
Lipika asks Shanti what happened to her. Shanti says she is just acting. Shanti says once there is a suspicion in Gayatri’s mind then this wedding will be broken off. Shanti comments on Mangal and Lakshmi always scolding her.
Karthik comes to Jia and asks Jia why does she come to all of his wedding events. Jia asks Karthik what does he wants to say. Karthik asks Jia to either come back into his life and leave him forever. Jai says she will not come to his wedding events from now on. Karthik stops Jia from leaving.
Lakshmi comes to Jia and Karthik. Jia comes to Lakshmi and makes up a reason for Karthik holding her hand and later leaves from there. Lakshmi doesn’t suspect anything.
Mangal brings Lakshmi’s birth certificate and proves to Gayatri that she gave the right time and date to Gayatri. Gayatri thanks Mangal for bringing this proof and clearing her suspicion away. Shanti again tries to make a scene. Kusum splashes the water on Shanti’s face. Kusum asks Shanti why did she do this. Kusum comments on Shanti as she is trying to stop Lakshmi and Karthik’s wedding. Kusum says to Shanti that she is not going to participate in Lakshmi and Karthik’s wedding. Mangal also agrees with Kusum.
Karthik pulls Lakshmi to a side and says to Lakshmi that everything is happening in a hurry. Karthik says they should call off the wedding. Karthik turns around and spots Lakshmi unconscious.
Karthik puts Lakshmi to rest on bed. Mangal asks Karthik what happened. Karthik says Lakshmi suddenly lost consciousness. Mangal says Lakshmi might have lost consciousness as she is Nirjal Vrath. Karthik comments on it. Lakshmi regains consciousness. Karthik makes Lakshmi eat sweet so that she will get energy and later leaves from there.
Mangal sees the expenditure is out of her control and thinks how will she handle it. Adit makes a joke. Mangal comments on it. Mangal sees a pamphlet due to which she can earn Rs 50000 and decides to participate in it.
