The episode starts with Lakshmi saying she is blessed that he is going to come into her life. Lakshmi says she couldn’t believe what was written in the letter at first but she is really happy all of this is true. Karthik thinks he told the truth about Jia in the letter but what is Lakshmi talking about. Kusum asks Karthik if this is the reason that he wants to talk to Lakshmi. Kusum twists Karthik’s ear. Gayatri and Sanjana come to Karthik and Kusum and asks Kusum what did Karthik do. Kusum teases Karthik. Kusum says everything will go well as tomorrow Mehandi will be in their house and they will meet at the marriage directly. Sanjana asks Karthik if he will really do marriage with Lakshmi. Karthik says he will not marry Lakshni and says he will put an end to this drama tomorrow.
Gayatri sees in the function that Karthik and Sanjana are missing so she calls both of them. Sanjana says to Karthik that Gayatri has found out they are not in the function. Sanjana says she is suspecting that Lakshmi is trying to double cross him. Karthik says Lakshmi would never do something like that.
Shanti greets Kusum. Kusum asks Mangal why Shanti came to Mehendi’s functions breaking her order. She sees Gayatri’s call but ignores her call. Kusum asks Mangal to send Shanti. Shanti says to Kusum that she came to bless Lakshmi and Mangal didn’t invite her. Shanti is about to leave. Lakshmi stops Shanti and requests Kusum to allow Shanti in her wedding rituals. Kusum allows Shanti for Lakshmi’s happiness. She asks Mangal to take Shanti’s responsibility. Mangal agrees. Kusum warns Shanti to not create any trouble in the mehendi ceremony.
Gayatri tells her husband that Kusum and Mangal are not answering calls so she is worried. Gayatri’s husband asks her to not worry. Gayatri sees something on the phone and gets shocked.
Mangal chooses a mehendi design for Lakshmi. Lakshmi stops Mehendi artist and requests Mangal to put mehendi on her hand. Mangal thinks about how her mehendi created trouble for her in the mela. She refuses. Lakshmi insists Mangal to put Mehandi. She asks Mangal to forget whatever happened in the Mangal. Mangal puts Mehandi on Lakshmi’s hand.
Karthik meets Akshat and asks him to participate in his mission. Akshat agrees. Karthik tells his plan to Akshat. Akshat comes to Lakshmi and says to Lakshmi that he needs water. Mangal asks Akshat to leave as Lakshmi is having her Mehandi done. Akshay pulls Lakshmi’s hand. Mangal comments on Akshat as due to him the K word of Karthik in Lakshmi’s Mehandi has been ruined. Kusum scolds Akshat.
Lakshmi comes outside. Karthik meets Lakshmi and tells her that he wants to tell her something. Kusum and everyone come there. Kusum asks Karthik why he came here with his aunt. She asks why he called Lakshmi outside. Shanti comments on Karthik. Kusum asks Karthik to tell what’s the matter in front of everyone. Mangal asks Karthik to tell what’s the truth. Adit tries to handle the situation. Karthik decides to reveal the truth

Precap -Parineet comes to Lakshmi’s Mehandi ceremony. Parineet asks Mangal why is she crying. Mangal says when she is really happy she fears thinking she might have done something wrong.
