The episode starts with Sowmya giving Mangal to Aarthi in the wrong way. Mangal tells Sowmya how to do it correctly. Kusum mocks Sowmya as she doesn’t know how to do Aarthi properly. Ruchika invites Mangal to come with her. Mangal agrees.
Mangal says to Kusum on what characteristics will she decide the cooking of the contestants. Mangal tastes the food of the contestants one by one. Mangal has trouble when the contestants speak about western dishes as she doesn’t understand. Adit comments on Mangal. Mangal tastes Sowmya’s food at last.
Mangal tastes the food of the only male contestant. Adit comments on Prakash the only male contestant. Mangal says nowadays both Men and women should know how to cook and comments on it.
Mangal and Kusum don’t like the taste of Sowmya’s food. Adit understands it by seeing Mangal’s face. Adit asks Mangal to make Sowmya the winner and says there are a lot of things that they should be grateful for Sowmya. Kusum takes Mangal to a side.
Kusum asks Mangal to choose a person who cooked the best food and says there is no need to make Sowmya just because she is grateful to them as she is helping Ishana study. Mangal agrees.
Mangal calculates the marks and decides who is the winner. Ruchika invites Mangal on stage to announce the winner. Mangal gives an impressive speech and announces Prakash as the winner of the cooking contest.
Sowmya feels disappointed about not being the winner of the cooking contest. Sowmya complaints to Adit about it. Adit asks Sowmya not to worry and says he will make up for it.
Kusum asks Sowmya to get up and sit somewhere else. Kusum says Mangal will sit beside Adit. A colleague also asks Sowmya to sit with the staff as this is the place of the chief guest. Sowmya agrees and leaves from there.
Tejpal later announces the best employee of the year award and Adit wins it for the third time and creates a hattrick. Adit takes the trophy and gives its credit to his mother Kusum.
Ruchika stops Adit when he is about to down stage. Ruchika says they have another award saying it is the best support award for helping Adit win this trophy. Ruchika gives the name to Adit and asks her to invite her on stage. Sowmya feels eager it is her but Sowmya gets shocked seeing Adit taking Mangal’s hand instead of her.
