Episode starts with Shastri asking his aide and the villagers to burn Geetanjali but fail to do so due to the storm and rain. Preeti looks distracted while her uncle-aunt ask her to join the game that they are playing. She keeps on thinking about Abhimanyu and looks sad. Suddenly someone knocks at the door. Preeti’s fiance arrives to apologise for his family’s behaviour. He says he doesn’t believe in ap -shagun and all and wants to marry Preeti therefore he has come with shagun for her.
Preeti’s chachi calls everyone and asks her brother to bring sweets for the ritual. Preeti keeps on seeing Bindu arrives at Shastri’s feet and apologises. She asks Shastri to save herself. He says that she is the one responsible for all this by keeping Geetanjali with her. Bindu says that Abhimanyu forced her to keep Geetanjali with her. Balwant gifts a red saree to Preeti, seeing which her family gets scared and asks why he brought a red saree. He says that not only witches wear red sarees but also brides. Suddenly the light goes off so they get scared. Shastri believes in Bindu and tells the villagers that Bindu is telling the truth.
After the light comes back, Preeti is brought to the terrace by Balwant to have a chit chat. She tells Balwant that this is happening so fast but she needs some time and can’t leave her students alone like this. Balwant says that she will have all their wealth after the marriage and won’t need to work. She says that she knows he can give him everything but she would have to earn her own self respect herself and she didn’t just study to sit idle at home. Balwant says she can teach their children at home and take that as her job. She says he is even more conservative than his family. He says he loves her and feels like touching her ever since he saw her and tries to enforce himself on her. Preeti pushes herself away and tries to find her bracelet that fell amidst this chaos.
Shastri says they need to find Geetanjali. Bindu says she knows the direction in which Geetanjali ran. Balwant screams seeing some red footprints on the terrace while finding Preeti’s bangle. The entire family comes to the terrace and asks him what’s wrong. He shows them the footprints and they get scared. They wonder how Dayaan’s footprints are here before 10:29pm and if they are all her targets.
They all go inside the house and Preeti’s aunt says they must complete the rasam of roka immediately. Balwant says he can’t do it like this now but they make him sit. He notices that the red saree he brought is missing so he asks about it. Preeti’s brother notices that some red hangs are hanging from the ceiling of their house made of the red saree Balwant brought. They get even more scared but Balwant says that it’s all his fault that he came here without informing his parents and can’t marry a characterless woman like Preeti.
Preeti informs her uncle about Balwant’s actions on the terrace that infuriates him and he throws Balwant out of the house saying he doesn’t deserve Preeti.
Preeti’s uncle tells her that whatever happens, happens for good and asks her to not worry. She goes to her room and wonders what is going on in their house and if there’s really an evil eye of someone in their house. She screams seeing daayan outside her house. Episode ends.
