The episode starts with Rajat getting scared, and finding Baani’s bag has burnt because of his mistake. He hides it. Meanwhile, Bebe questions Baani for preparing halwa. Baani tells her that she will prepare the lunch after she comes from her interview, which leads Bebe to shout at her. But both Poonam and her husband encourage Bebe to taste the halwa. Bebe loves the halwa after tasting it. So she gives her a shagun by taking the money from her son, which upsets him. Baani, thanks, Bebe. Everyone praises Baani, which irks Shilpa. Shilpa then goes to buy curd from Nandu. Nandu scolds her son for being so involved in the share market. Someone scolds Nandu from inside, which makes her nervous. She sends Shilpa out. The entire Khanna’s wishes Baani luck for her interview, which makes Baani happy. She then leaves the house without noticing her bag being burnt. Rajat, who sees this from a distance, scolds himself for making a mistake.
Baani gets shocked learning her bag being burnt so her purse has fallen somewhere. She realises that because of Rajat, she is in this state. Just then, Rajat arrives there, and he gives her her purse, saying his father found it near their house. Baani comments on him. Rajat insists on dropping Baani, which the latter agrees. Rajat drops her in the location. He realises it’s a footwear shop, so he questions her. Baani says no job is big or small, which brings a smile on Rajat’s face. He wishes her luck, which makes Baani smile too, and then she goes inside to attend the interview.
Baani hears the conversation between the father and son of the shop, who is an owner. She intemroduces herself to them. The son reminds her that she is five minutes late. Baani explains the situation to him, but he refuses to interview her. Baani gets upset, but she doesn’t lose hope. Baani then convinces the father and son duo to give her an opportunity to sell the footwear. They agrees promising to hire her if she sells it. Baani succeeded in selling the footwear, so she got hired.
Later, Baani meets her parents and informs them about her new job. She also promises to take care of their financial needs, and then she leaves. But Baani’s parents worries about Khanna’s reaction, so they decide to speak with Baani about it. There, the dishes that Baani prepared for lunch make everyone happy. They all praise her. Mr.Khanna gives her a shagun, too, which brings a smile on Baani’s face. Rajat arrives there. He gifts Baani a bag in front of his family. They all tease them. Rajat praises Baani’s cooking skills, too. Poonam gets relieved, thinking that Rajat and Baani solve their misunderstanding.
Minty gets upset for not being able to go to a school trip, which Baani learns. She tries to speak with Shilpa, but the latter shouts at her. Baani then hears Rajat’s conversation, in which he refuses to accept the proposal for a new order, but Baani urges him to agree, saying she will fulfil the order. Rajat gets confused.
Precap: Baani refuses to take Rajat’s help to fulfil the order. Later, Rajat saves Baani from falling down.
