The episode starts with Kusum asking Mangal to leave everything on her and she will look after it. Mangal hugs her. Kusum says Adit is not bad at heart and his arrest has broken him. She blames Pappu Yadav for Adit’s change. Kusum says they need to remove the bitter memories from Adit’s life so it’s good if Adit and you get remarried. Mangal looks on. Kusum tells Mangal that everyone is waiting for them. She asks her to come inside wiping her tears. Kusum leaves from there.
Mangal wipes her tears. Lakshmi comes there and questions Mangal if Adit is still upset with her. She asks if Adit’s anger is behind her disappearance last night. Mangal diverts the matter and leaves from there saying she needs to purchase the masala to cook food for everyone. Lakshmi looks on.
Soumya asks Peon to arrange for a surprise welcome to Adit at the office without letting anyone in the office know that she is behind it. She hides from Adit and thinks to give a surprise to Adit. Adit enters the office. Mangal also comes behind him. Peon blasts confetti poppers. Mangal feels scared and is about to fall. Adit holds her and asks what’s she doing in his office. Soumya feels disappointed seeing Mangal. The boss comes out and sees the welcoming surprise to Adit and questions who arranged it. He misunderstood that Mangal arranged it and tells her that it was not a good way to do it at the office. Soumya feels relaxed. Adit scolds Mangal and asks her to leave from his office.
Mangal tells Adit’s boss that she came to tell the truth to everyone. She tells Adit’s boss that she took the 1 lakh from Pappu Yadav money to save her father in law. She asks Adit’s boss to not doubt Adit who is a great employee and says it’s all her mistake. Adit’s boss and his employees appreciate Mangal. They warmly welcome back Adit in the office. Soumya feels humiliated and leaves from there.
Lakshmi sees Mangal is not at the store to take masala. She thinks about where Mangal went. Vinod Chacha meets Lakshmi. He asks how is she. Lakshmi says she is fine. Vinod tells Lakshmi that Shanti is not paying him the rent to the shop. He tells her that he is planning to sell the shop. Lakshmi says his dad started his shop at that shop and asks him to give her some time to think of a way. Mangal comes there and asks Vinod for some more time. Vinod agrees and leaves.
Lakshmi asks where she went lying to her. Mangal says she went to Adit’s office to tell the truth to everyone. She says everything is settled and Adit got a warm welcome. Lakshmi asks Mangal to tell her where she went last night. Mangal lies that she went to a mandir. Lakshmi catches her lie and asks her to tell the truth. Mangal sees Shalini in the market. She feels scared thinking Lakshmi will learn the truth. She asks Lakshmi to get the masala and leaves from there.
Mangal meets Shalini. Shalini asks Mangal if she is fine. She says they are worried about her sudden disappearance. Mangal says she left suddenly thinking of her kids. Shalini says it’s understandable. Mangal asks how she is here. Shalini says she came to meet her daughter. Mangal says she prays for her daughter’s married life. Shalini asks how she met with an accident. Lakshmi sees Mangal talking to someone and comes there. She asks Shalini how she knows about Mangal when she met her. Mangal manages the situation saying they met in the temple last night. Shalini agrees. She receives a call and leaves from there informing Mangal.
Gayatri sees the anniversary invitation and says it’s nice. She says it’s good to be in English. Karthik says it’s good if Lakshmi chooses the card. Lakshmi comes there and serves tea to everyone. Gayatri comments that Lakshmi’s choice is not up to their standards. Karthik supports Lakshmi and asks her to choose the card. Lakshmi thinks of Shalini. Mangal sees Lakshmi worried and thinks she is worried about Vinod.
Soumya tells Adit about her parents ultimatum. She tells him that they need to get married in 20 days. Adit says it’s not possible. Soumya asks Adit to understand her situation and tells him that they need to break off their relationship if he doesn’t get married to her. Adit says her parents don’t know his situation. He asks Soumya how can she even think of their marriage in 20 days knowing his family situation.
