The episode starts with Kusum saying to Adit that Mangal is his Dharmapatni. She asks him what’s lacking in Mangal. Kusum tells Adit that Mangal is doing her duties well as a wife, so you should do yours. Adit says he is fed up with Mangal’s stupidity and declares he wants freedom from Mangal. He asks Kusum why he spoiled his life by getting him married to Mangal. Kusum says he is blinded by hate and tells him that he is not considering Mangal’s efforts for him and his family. She asks him to not lose a diamond-like Mangal. Adit says he is tired of her class. He asks Kusum how she is here. Adit asks Kusum if Mangal sent her to spy on him. Kusum says he misunderstood again and tells him that Soumya called him here.
The house owner of Soumya asks Mangal who is she? I’ve never seen you before. Kalpana says she is tired of seeing (referring to) Adit. Soumya introduces Mangal to Kalpana and Kalpana to Mangal. Mangal greets her. Kalpana asks why she came. Mangal says she came to pick up her mother in law. Kalpana says Mangal has a family, unlike Soumya. She comments on her. Mangal takes Soumya’s side. Kalpana says she has a problem with the male person who comes here frequently. Soumya fights with Kalpana in front of Mangal and referring to Adit says that he is my fiance and will marry him soon.
Adit says to Kusum that Soumya can never call you. Kusum shows him her call log and proves her point. Adit decides to confront Soumya. Adit comes out with Kusum. Kusum sees Mangal and tries to cover up the situation. They hear the temple bell sound. Kusum says today is ekadasi. Kalpana says today is good muhurat. She asks Adit to fill the maang of his lady. Kusum assumes Kalpana is talking about Mangal and asks him to fill the maang. Soumya feels scared thinking Kalpana will create a scene. Adit fills Mangal’s maang with sindoor. Soumya gestures to Kalapana to not create any scene. Kusum asks Kalapana to give her blessings to Adit and his wife. Kalpana blesses them. Kusum, Adit, and Mangal leave from there. Kalpana scolds Soumya for having an affair with a married man. She tells her that she will teach her a lesson the next day.
In the night, Kusum thinks of Adit’s outburst. Kusum’s husband asks what she is thinking. Kusum tells him that Adit ignored good qualities of Mangal and considered the qualities that were lacking. Kusum’s husband comforts her telling Adit opinion on Mangal will be changed during their anniversary celebration. Kusum agrees.
The next day, Kusum asks Mangal if she talked to Lakshmi about Adit’s sherwani. Mangal shows her that she asked Lakshmi to prepare the Sherwani liked by Adit. Kusum praises Mangal.
Soumya on call asks Shalini if she prepared the sherwani. Shalini asks why she wants to gift Sherwani to her boyfriend. Soumya makes her agree by saying a lie. Soumya thinks it’s to make Adit choose her Sherwani over Mangal’s Sherwani. Lakshmi is also in the same shop and on video call Lakshmi tells Mangal that she came to the shop to purchase cloth for the sherwani. She cuts the call. Lakshmi and Shalini choose the same cloth. The shopkeeper tells them that only one can get it. Lakshmi convinces Shalini telling she is purchasing the cloth for Mangal’s anniversary. Lakshmi tries to know how Shalini met Mangal. She pleads with Shalini to tell her the truth. Shalini tells Lakshmi about Mangal’s accident and how they helped Mangal.
