The episode starts with Sundari telling the cops what happened. The ambulance staff come to Bhagwati and take her body on a stretcher. Mohini tries to touch Bhagwati but Shakti stops Mohini. Shakti says Mohini will not touch Bhagwati. The ambulance people take Bhagwati’s body away.
Shakti says to Mohini that she will not leave her. Mohini asks Shakti to atleast leave her for today. The cops asks Shakti what is she doing. Shakti says to the cops that Bhagwati was murdered. Shakti says she saw with her own eyes that a snake was wrapped around Bhagwati’s neck and the snake was holding onto the fan. The cops ask Shakti if only she saw Bhagwati like that and no other family members. Shakti says yes and says all the family members only entered after breaking down the door. The cops ask Shakti if she was alone with Bhagwati. Shakti says yes. Shiv thinks Shakti will land in trouble if she speaks like this. Shiv asks Shakti to shut up but Shakti doesn’t shut up. The cops say to Shakti that she needs to come with them to police station.
Manorama and the entire Sharma family decides to go to Kashyap family to console them as Bhagwati is dead.
Raghunath and Kamalnath say to the cops that they can’t take Shakti like that as there is not even a police complaint. Shiv also stops the cops and says to the cops to leave Shakti if not. The cops say to Shiv that they are only taking Shakti to the police station for enquiry and says they are not arresting her. The cops ask Shiv to allow them to do their job. Shiv assures Shakti that he will not allow anything to happen to her. The cops take Shakti away in their police vehicle.
Karthik comes downstairs looking for Shakti. Karthik asks Kashyap family where is Shakti. Mohini takes Karthik back into the home making up a reason.
The Sharma family is shown to have come to Kashyap Niwas. The Kashyap family greets them.
Karthik says he would like to meet Shakti and asks Shiv where is Shakti. Shiv says Shakti got an important call from the hospital so she went to the hospital.
Karthik says he got a bad dream and says he wants to tell about it to Shakti. Shiv comments on it. Karthik says whenever he has a bad dream Shakti puts her hand over his head and tells the bad dreams go away and asks Shiv to do the same. Shiv agrees and does it.
The cops question Shakti to tell them what she saw as she is the sole eye witness to Bhagwati’s death. Shakti says to the cops that this is done by a shape shifting serpent and that serpent is none other than Mohini in their house. The cops laugh at Shakti hearing her story. Shakti asks them to stop laughing and says she is telling the truth.
The cops asks Shakti from where did they bring Mohini into her home. Shakti recalls about it and thinks she can’t tell the truth about the accident. The cops ask Shakti to stop speaking lies and says she will not leave from here until she speaks the truth. The cops are about to leave interrogation room but Shakti sees a snake to a clock on the wall. Shakti tells the cops about it. The cops check it and see there is no snake. The cops comment on Shakti and leave from there.
