Mangal Lakshmi 16th August 2024 Written Update on SerialGossip.in
The episode starts with Mangal saying to Adit about Mannan and Sowmya’s wedding getting fixed and asks Adit to have some sweet. Adit says he will not have sweets and comments on her. Adit leaves from there. Kusum asks Mangal to leave Adit for some time as he is feeling sick that’s why he is a little irritated. Kusum later asks Mannan to meet Sowmya and talk to her and get to know her before the marriage. Mannan agrees.
Karthik later gives the good news to his family that in Delhi he is going to do a concert. Gayatri says it is really great news. Lakshmi says she never saw a live concert. Karthik asks Lakshmi if she would like to see the live concert in Delhi. Lakshmi says yes. Gayatri gets upset seeing it.
Adit calls Sowmya and she doesn’t attend the call. Adit gets upset seeing it. Mangal brings Moong dal Ka Kichdi for Adit so that his stomach will get better. Mangal later says to Adit that Sowmya and Mannan’s pre engagement ceremony date is fixed on Sunday. Adit comments on Mangal and sends her away.
Adit in shown to be in the office waiting for Sowmya to talk to her. Adit learns that Sowmya took a few days off as Sowmya is getting married and she went shopping today with Mannan.
At the dining table, everyone is shown to be eating dinner. All the family members talk about Sowmya and Mannan’s pre engagement ceremony. Mangal asks Kusum if they can invite Sowmya to lunch tomorrow. Mangal says in this way Mannan and Sowmya will get to know each other a little bit. Kusum agrees. Adit comments on it. Mannan asks Adit what happened. Adit says nothing and makes up a reason for his behaviour.
Gayatri sees Indu taking a dress for Lakshmi as she is preparing to go to the concert.
Sanjana comes and says to Gayatri that it is looking like Lakshmi will replace her. Gayatri says no one take a mother’s place and comments on it. Gayatri says she always used to take care of Karthik when he goes to concert and if she doesn’t go Karthik will not be able to perform the concert. Gayatri says she knows how to take care of Karthik the best. Sanjana says Lakshmi will learn everything and also reminds this house tradition that once men get married they listen to their wife more than their mother. Gayatri comments on Sanjana and leaves from there.
Mangal prepares food for the dinner and talks to Lakshmi over the call. Mangal says she is happy for Lakshmi as Lakshmi is going to a concert with Karthik for the first time.
Mannan wears a suit and gets ready. Mannan asks Mangal how is she looking. Mangal says he is looking great. Adit says this is too over and comments on it. Adit hears the door bell and Manan is about to go to open the door but Adit stops Mannan and says he will open the door.
Adit invites Sowmya into the house. Sowmya greets Mannan and praises his dress. Adit asks Mangal to get something for Sowmya. Mangal agrees and leaves from there.
Lakshmi says she doesn’t know what she has to wear for the concert. Gayatri says she will help her. Gayatri chooses a light saree for Lakshmi and asks Lakshmi to wear it. Gayatri tells Lakshmi what she to keep in mind for Karthik. Lakshmi audio records Gayatri’s tips so that she will not miss it. Karthik seeing it praises Lakshmi. Karthik later leaves from there.
Mannan asks Sowmya about her favourite actor and other questions. Adit says to Mannan that it is looking like he is taking her interview. Mannan hearing it suggests playing a game of truth or dare to get to know each other. Sowmya agrees.
Sowmya later spins the bottle and it points to Adit. Adit chooses the truth. Sowmya asks Adit how much does he love his wife.
