The episode starts with Baani taking Poonam’s blessings, but the latter questions her act, and then she goes inside. One by one, everyone makes up an excuse in front of Baani, and then they all leave from there, including Rajat. Baani gets upset with everyone for not remembering her birthday, and then she leaves from there. Poonam advises Rajat to be there for Baani’s birthday on time. Rajat promises to be there on time. Meanwhile, the Arora’s have a conversation about Baani’s birthday plan.
Both Rajat and Baani are on their way to the office. Rajat requests Baani to attend an important office party with him, which she agrees. She then grows suspicious of her family members’ plans about her birthday, which makes her happy. In the banquet hall, both the Khanna’s and Arora’s looks happy. They have a conversation about Baani’s birthday party.
In the evening, Rajat collects his birthday gift for Baani. He then excitedly leaves for the venue. Lavanya sees everything from the far. She gets upset with Rajat for getting excited about Baani’s birthday. She gets determined to stop Rajat from attending the birthday party of Baani. Instead, Rajat should spend time with her. She deliberately meets with an accident in front of Rajat, who takes her to the hospital.
Here, Baani reaches the party hall. She enters the banquet hall and gets shocked, looking finding it dark. She calls out her family members. They switches on the light and wishes her birthday. Baani lovingly scolds them. Aastha gives Baani her birthday dress. Other’s encourages Baani to get ready as they only have limited time. The latter obliges, and then she goes inside. Aastha recalls Rajat cautioning her not to buy pink colour dress. She smirks and tells herself that she hopes that Baani realises her feelings now. Meanwhile, the entire family members wonder about Rajat’s whereabouts.
In the hospital, Rajat inquires with the doctor about Lavanya’s condition. The doctor sends him out. Rajat gets worried looking at the time. Meanwhile, Baani comes out wearing a pink dress gifted to her by Aastha. Mannat gets shocked. Baani thanks Aastha for her gift. The latter becomes speechless by Baani’s behaviour. She also gets gifts from the entire family. Baani gets upset with Rajat, who hasn’t arrived at her birthday party yet. Meanwhile, Rajat decides to inform Baani about his situation, but his phone battery dies. Baani gets upset with Rajat for not charging his phone.
There, the doctor informs Rajat that they have to take a few tests for Lavanya. Rajat decides to call Lavanya’s father, but Lavanya convinces him to stay with her. Meanwhile, the entire family tries to contact Rajat but gets upset when they find his phone off. Baani lies to them about getting Rajat’s message. She then distracts them to enjoy the party.
In the hospital, Navjyot fails to notice Rajat when she hears his voice. There, Baani refuses to cut the cake without Rajat, so she suggests returning home. They all agree. Meanwhile, Lavanya thanks Rajat also tells him that she is sure he cares for her. She further thinks in her mind that she should make sure Rajat realises his feelings for her. Later, Rajat returns home, where he faces Bhishan’s questions.
Precap: Navjyot questions Rajat, which makes him nervous. Later, Baani finds the hospital bill from Rajat, so she moves forward to take it shocking Rajat.
