The episode starts with Rajat apologising to Baani in front of everyone. Bhishan mocks him, and he also reprimands his act. Rajat gets shocked hearing Bhishan’s statement about him. Rajat looks at Baani, who remains silent. Bhishan questions Rajat about his whereabout. The latter recalls the time he spent with Lavanya in the hospital. He remains silent. Gaurav intervenes, saying that now they should let Baani cut the cake. Rajat gets surprised learning that Baani refuses to cut the cake without him by her side. So he apologises to Baani and the entire family. Baani then cuts the cake. Mannat insists Baani feeds the cake to Rajat first, but she feeds the cake piece to the elders of the family members. She realises that Bhishan went inside, so she follows him.
Baani thanks Bhishan for not letting her parents be aware of him being upset with her. She also requests Bhishan to accept her stock market investment, saying she isn’t greedy. Bhishan advises Baani about the need of a person turning them into a greedy person. He also tells her that he isn’t upset with her but with her stock market investment. Baani convinces Bhishan to have her birthday cake. Rajat sees everything from a distance, and he gets happy. Meanwhile, Lavanya gets happy thinking that Baani must be fighting with Rajat.
Navjyot comes to meet Baani for her birthday. Baani gets happy. Navjyot makes a statement about seeing Rajat earlier in the hospital. Rajat gets nervous while Baani looks confused. Baani comments on Navjyot’s statement. She also she encourages her to visit her often. Later, Rajat lies to Baani , he is busy with work, which is the reason he isn’t able to attend her birthday party. He also thanks her for lying to his family. Baani tells him that she is upset, but she has realised he must be busy with his work. She is happy that Rajat is focusing on his work. That’s the best birthday gift. Rajat gets worried wondering about Baani’s reaction once she learns about him being with Lavanya. Lavanya’s hospital bill falls to the floor, which Baani takes it in her hand, but Rajat snatches it from her. He gives her an excuse about helping his colleague. Baani gets convinced with his lies.
At night, Bebe informs Bhishan and Poonam about her leg pain. Poonam suggests that she apply oil to lessen the pain. Meanwhile, Rajat gives Baani her favourite musical instrument as a gift. Baani gets happy. She excitedly plays it. Hearing the sound, Gini and the kids eavesdrop the conversation between Rajat-Baani. Gini misunderstands that they are romancing, so she sends the kids from there. Shilpa and Gaurav also misunderstand that Rajat and Baani are romancing with each other.
Rajat chatted with Lavanya while Baani was sleeping beside her. Lavanya gets hopeful that Rajat will accept her back in his life soon. The next day, Rajat takes care of Lavanya. Lavanya shares with Rajat about their memories. Rajat advises her. Meanwhile, Bebe refuses to do a surgery, so Baani decides to speak with Rajat about it. Later, Baani and Poonam are in the market. Aastha follows them under Purab’s instructions to find out the truth.
Precap: Baani pays the bill of an expensive dress, which she accidentally tears it. Mannat gets worried. Baani receives Balwant’s call demanding her interest amount.
