The episode starts with Baani giving food to Softy, asking him to have it, and feed Nandu once she wakes up. Softy thanks her, then he goes inside. Meanwhile, Gaurav recalls Gini’s earlier act, and he gets sad. Baani notices him. She tells him that she feels weird looking at him in a bad mood. She encourages him to share with her what made him sad. She also notices him crying, which shocks her. Gaurav criticises himself, and then he ends up confessing to Baani about whatever happened. He also asks Baani why Gini feels ashamed to introduce her family to her friends. Baani tries to lift up Gaurav’s mood, saying that Gini is too young, but she will understand and also accept their reality. Gaurav loses hope, but Baani encourages him not to do it. She further requests him not to inform the family members about Gini’s act.
Here, Aastha finds Rajat upset. So she inquired with him what happened. She further shared with him about Baani flaunting in front of the family members about her new workplace atmosphere, but she didn’t tell anyone that she was working in a trading company. She further instigates Rajat against Baani, saying his wife earns more than him. Rajat remains silent. Aastha taunts him indirectly, recalling Purab’s words. Rajat questions her. But Aastha tells him that he will learn the meaning of her words, which confuses Rajat more. Poonam calls out Rajat and Aastha to have dinner, so they go inside.
During dinner, the family members praise Baani, and they share with Rajat about the information Baani has shared with them. Rajat remains silent. Baani encourages Gaurav to crack a joke before they can have dinner, but Gaurav refuses. The entire family encourages Gaurav along with Baani. Gaurav agrees, so he cracked a few jokes , and everyone enjoys it. Afterwards, Baani decides to serve food to Rajat, but the latter stops her, saying that he is not in the mood to have dinner. Bhishan and the family members ask him what happened. Aastha tells them that Rajat must be struggling to adapt to the new office. Rajat recalls his boss’s insult also quitting the job, but he doesn’t share this information with his family members. Bhishan advises Rajat to find a new job just like Baani. The family members comment on Baani’s increase in salary. Rajat goes inside. Aastha secretly tells Baani that Rajat must be having a problem with her increase in salary. Baani looks on thoughtfully. Later, Baani encourages Raja to change a new job if he feels pressured by his boss.
The next day, Rajat receives a call from Lavanya early in the morning. He lies to Baani. He then shouts at Lavanya for her repeated calls. Later, Baani feels bad for Rajat when he lies to everyone about going to the office while everyone spends time together. After Rajat leaves, the entire family cleans the house together. Meanwhile, Lavanya finds Rajat in a park. She questions him about his stressed behaviour. Rajat shares with her about quitting his job. He also firmly states that he won’t join her company. There, Malhotra shouts at the Khanna’s for Shilpa’s mistake. Baani warns him. She then encourages the Khanna’s to clean the entire society. There, Charan stares at something.
