The episode starts with Savi telling Rajat that Sai is there to call him “Dad.” Rajat responds that he is not Sai’s father, and that Sai is the daughter of Ashika and Harsh. He adds that he found out the truth on the day of the Dahi Handi competition. Savi realizes this is the reason behind Rajat’s changed behavior towards Sai. The doctor then comes to Rajat and starts the procedure.
Sai brings an intoxicated Rajat home. She decides to find out who Sai’s real parents are. The next day, Rajat comes to the house holding his chin. Bhagyashree asks him what happened. Savi arrives and asks Rajat to explain how he got injured. Bhagyashree also asks how he was hurt. She notices that Savi isn’t wearing her bangles and says this is the reason Rajat is facing all these problems. Savi rebukes her, saying she removed her bangles because of Rajat. She questions why customs are only for girls. Rajat makes a comment and leaves. Raju then asks Savi to wear the wedding bangles for Bhagyashree’s happiness, and Savi agrees.
Aman and Mrunmayi share their idea to bring Rajat and Savi closer through a competition. They ask Shantanu to talk to Rajendra about organizing the competition on Visarjan day. Shantanu agrees and asks them to handle the competition arrangements. Aman says he will head to the office. Outside, Shantanu thanks Aman for guarding the Akhand Jyoti with Mrunmayi. Lucky overhears this.
At the dining table, Savi notices that Rajat and Sai have the same habits. She thinks anyone could tell Rajat is Sai’s father, but Rajat still has doubts. Determined to prove to Rajat that Sai is his daughter, Savi talks to Raju and learns that Sai is a carbon copy of Rajat. Savi decides to do a DNA test on Sai and Rajat to prove the truth. She comes up with a plan.
Meanwhile, Harsh expresses his love for Ashika by preparing her favorite breakfast. Ashika asks what the occasion is. Harsh explains how Kiyaan and Sai’s issues are troubling Rajat and asks Ashika to help him defeat Rajat once and for all. Ashika agrees.
Savi cuts Sai’s nails and tries to get Rajat to cut his nails intentionally for the DNA test, but Rajat throws the nails away. Frustrated, Savi decides to collect a hair sample instead. She sneaks into Rajat’s room and gets a hair sample from his towel, happily saying she finally found it. Bhagyashree walks in, sees the lemon, chilies, and hair with Savi, and misunderstands, thinking Savi is doing a spell, which is why Raju is listening to her these days. Bhagyashree says she will not happen the same with Rajat and she takes the hair sample from Savi and leaves.
Aman and Mrunmayi discuss how Savi and Rajat could become a great couple if their misunderstandings are cleared up. Later, Savi asks Rajat to sleep, but he makes a comment and leaves. Savi wonders when he will fall asleep so she can collect his DNA sample. She lowers the AC temperature, causing Rajat to cover himself with a quilt and put his phone aside. Savi approaches Rajat to cut his hair, but he wakes up and creates a scene, leaving the room. However, Savi manages to get Rajat’s DNA sample for the test.

Precap: Savi tells Rajat that although she didn’t give birth to Sai, she has never questioned her motherhood for Sai. She then accuses Rajat of questioning his fatherhood, even though he is Sai’s father. She hands him a file to check.
