The episode begins in Kingsir Jodhpur during the Snake Festival of 2009.
Panibai calls for her boss and instructs Savitri and her husband to come downstairs. She tells Savitri to hurry, mentioning that her boss’s health is deteriorating. Savitri responds that Panibai doesn’t need to remind her about her husband’s health.
Savitri and her husband come before Panibai. Panibai reminds Savitri of how she once helped them out of a major trouble and says she has ensured such issues never arose again in their house. Savitri’s husband agrees, acknowledging that without Panibai’s help, they would have faced significant problems. Savitri, however, retorts that Panibai always interferes in her family decisions by bringing up past favors. Panibai comments that she has raised Savitri’s children as her own, referring to Savitri’s sons and daughters-in-law.
Savitri’s sons and daughters-in-law arrive and also praise Panibai. Savitri then asks Anurag’s mother where Anurag and Durga are.
Anurag and Durga are shown going to the Mela. Durga falls on a sand dune and gets injured, and Anurag takes care of her.
Anurag’s mother tells everyone that Anurag and Durga have gone to the Mela. Panibai remarks that once Durga grows up, she will need to be advised to maintain her distance from Anurag, as Anurag is from the Rajvadi family and Durga is from the Kabela community.
Anurag’s mother invites Panibai to join them for the Pooja. Savitri reminds Anurag’s mother that Panibai is not a married woman, and only married women perform this ritual.
Panibai decides to take revenge on the Rajvadi family by using Durga as her weapon and teaching them a lesson. The Rajvadi family leaves for the temple.
Anurag and Durga meet Jariburi and some Kabela community members. Anurag asks Jariburi to continue her dance. Jariburi then asks Durga to dance, as she is also part of the Kabela community. Durga agrees and performs a dance. Later, the Kabela people ask Anurag to play the flute. Anurag plays, and Durga dances to the music. The Kabela people later praise Anurag.
While traveling in the car, Anurag’s mother discusses Anurag and Durga’s friendship with her sisters-in-law. Indira suggests that Anurag’s mother should end their friendship. Anurag’s mother questions how she can do that since they live in the same house. Indira and another sister-in-law caution Anurag’s mother that Durga will become a problem for Anurag. Anurag’s mother thinks they are overreacting and comments on it.
Panibai performs the Pooja for the Rajvadi family. It is revealed that Panibai is in love with Savitri’s husband, but Savitri’s husband has not married Panibai because she is from a lower community.
The Kabela people encounter some goons, who are associated with Savitri’s husband. These goons often steal the Ayurvedic medicine brought by the Kabela people for sale at the exhibition. Jariburi asks Anurag to report these goons to his father. Anurag agrees. He and Durga witness the goons forcefully taking the Ayurvedic medicine from Jariburi. Anurag tells the goons he will report them to his father, and they leave. Anurag, Durga, and the Kabela community people then head back to the Mela.
Later, Anurag makes Durga swing on the swing. Afterward, Anurag writes Durga’s name on a tree and asks her to write his name. Durga says his name is difficult to write. Anurag asks Durga to study well and write his name on the tree later. Durga agrees and promises to do so.
